I was expecting something a tad different when I read Ice Dragon LOL. But the sweeping tail on it does give that a bit of resemblence to all the dragons I've met.

Me too, I kept squinting at the video going, But where's the dragon, what's that unassuming insect doing there instead ...
It's something like a scorpion maybe, with the tail? - Just bought Oso's pixie dragon today, by the way, so all dragon-related content is very fitting (https://www.daz3d.com/oso-pixie-dragon-for-daz-dragon-3)! It's just THE cutest.HH Giganotosaurus & Undead Giganotosaurus [Commercial]The original, I didn't think I'd have much use for, as it's mostly like a Rex and I have your excellent most recent Rex with all the addiitons for it.
That undead variation, though... Good Lord, I will get whatever's necessary for that. The idea of using the sharpened ends of the vertebrae to give a teeth-like theme along it is inspired brilliance.
I'd be fascinated to see your take on a similar vampiric-looking version of a giant scorpion or something, too.
Or even a vampiric/zombified mermaid. There are some amusing artistic interpretations of those!

Jason and the Argonauts, 1963 version. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057197/
M4 as Jason fighting the Poser skeletons among marble ruins. I used the NPR renderer to render out the shield logos (argo ship, ram fleece, and scorpion) which enables the option of the outlines.
Scene setup attached. Vibrance adjusted with the aid of filter forge.

my fav movie when I was a young kid and still is... watched it last year and due for another looksee
One of my favs as a kid as well. Another great selection and render, Diomede!
you know you have to do the other scenes as well now @Diomede
Didn't he do the cyclops a while back?
I'm not sure...
but I did sit down in front of the telly with Netflix yesterday arvo and watched Jason & the Argonauts again.....

Very nice render. I love Ray Harryhausen. Even if stop motion cannot compare with CGI effects in terms of realism, it's still impressive.

Manta Ray, Crab, Lobster Gen 8 Male and Female MonsterYou know me, always trying to get sexy Daz monsters made. No one took me up on the plant monsters, but with all the mermaids and such, I figured, I'd ask for things like this. Ground, totund crab maonster people. Maybe a Lobster male and female using somethign similar to SY's scorpion people? And a graceful sleek male and female manta ray people, where the webbing goes across the back, you know write to wrist. Just more ideas for monsters!
My list has shrunk over time as some artists created the creatures! So, SY, Rawart, Josh Crockett, AntFarm, and others, I thank you! However, there are always more!
Mantis Humanoid Female Monster
Cockroach Humanoid Female Monster
Fly Humanoid Female Monster
Plant Humanoid Female Monster (I made a specific post about this here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/411046/plant-women ;)
Octopus Humanoid Female Monster (Like Dungeons and Dragon's Mind Flayers only G8F)
Crab or Lobster Humanoid Female Monster
Manta Ray Humanoid Female Monster
Snake (with legs) Humanoid Female Monster (like Snake Men from Masters of the Universe)DELETEWendyLuvsCatz said:

Well, it's male and female scorpioid-ish creatures... so Rule 34 is a definitive option.

G8.1 can use all the G8 clothes, characters, morphs, etc. No reason you can't use them side-by-side.
As for your suggestions: I like the scorpion and plant ideas, not sure about the cockroach but I'm sure some would like it.
G8F Monster VaritiesI cannot be the only Daz user that would enjoy these strange and yet compelling creatures!I am very sorry to tell you, but you are indeed..................LOL
I can't see a use for any of them in what I do, but I am all for variety so bring it on. The scorpion one sounds interesting
G8F Monster VaritiesSome of my monster suggestions have been made, and Rawart, Josh Crockett, AntFarm, and others, I thank you! However, I thought I'd compile a list of monsters I would like - specifically sexy women version for G8F (not G8.1 if I can help it since I invested enough money in 8). Feel free to mention monster women or creatures you'd also be interested in buying here! Hopefully a creator sees this!

I think any of these would be great for male monsters too, but there is a significant lack of female monsters. My projects I make with Daz skirt the line between sexy and scary, so having these female monsters be in that range of look would be ideal (of course with the sliders I could make them less monstrous and more feminine). And, to Josh and the other monster makers, may I also humbly ask for more sliders for the morphs? In other words, maybe having the heads be separate from the body morphs (or mantis arms, scorpion claws, etc.) Anyway, thank you for taking the time to look at this! I cannot be the only Daz user that would enjoy these strange and yet compelling creatures!
Again, post your monster ideas for G8 FEMALES here! I’d like to see what others come up with too!Show Us Your Iray Renders. Part VIIFishtales said:

For some reason this brought to mind two old movies Them even though it was ants and not scorpions and The Black Scorpion
I remember 'Them' but not the other one.
The Black Scorpion (1957)
Nope, never saw that, although I was only seven. In saying that I did watch 'The Quatermass Experiment' and hiding behind the couch at the scary bits :)
That was a good one
