Is there an easy way to transfer all G2 morphs to G3?
So..I've done this quite often from G2F to G3F with Gen2X. But it's been a while, so my memory may be rusty.
Once you get Gen2X up and working (other tutorials available on the forum), then:
1. Choose SOURCE: G2F
2. Choose MODE: Selected Morphs
3. Then under MORPH: Look in (region) Actor and put a check mark by each morph you want to move over to G3F
4. Choose TARGET: G3F
5. And I think that's it. The options I use are 1. Transfer controlled morphs, 2. Transfer dial groups 3. Transfer CM with dependent morphs

This addon requires the base Genesis Generation X2 and the GenX2 AddOn for Genesis 2, which I believe you already own base on your comment above. It is highly unlikely there will be any new addons as the artist has, sadly, passed on.
The script that is referenced in your second quote was available in the Morphs from G3 to G8 thread. However it is no longer available. You may be able to use informtion from the tutorials that Redz (aka RedzStudio,) provided in that thread. Here are the links:

I just finished converting all my M4, G1 and G2M morphs (3477 morphs total) in 5.33 hours :) and I'm not on all that powerful machine (3.2 GHz 3-core cpu)
I had even more for the female (probably easily 2x that many) and that only took about 8 hours or so to convert.

The script does not transfer a single favorited morph.
I would know. I wrote it.
It uses a single favorited morph as a hint to locate the folder said morph's file is in. It then transfers ALL of the morphs in that folder.
If you set a custom folder for your GenX transfer from G2 to G3, then use my script after favoriting one (and only one) of those transfered morphs (and nothing else, you can only have one morph marked) then the script will eat up a lot of your CPU and run for 20 minutes to, I dunno, 6 hours, depending on your CPU speed and cores and transfer everything in that folder.
Honestly, I wouldn't recomend doing that. But I have stress tested it up to I think 500 morphs, and it does do the trick.
Of course, I'm working on something much, much better, now. But that won't solve your question for some time.Thanks
Genesis 9 delayed until at least 2020. Will you be buying it?Watch, you'll start to see a lot of new functionality in content and Studio itself over the next several months that will let you do a lot of things with Genesis 8 that you haven't been able to.
So finally 4.11 will be out of beta I presume. Also I'm glad that G8 is here to stay, personally I'm sick of generation "upgrades" ..
He has to be talking about a lot more functionality than what the 4.11.x beta I have supplies.
Most likely, since they have done a lot of work that we haven't had a chance to look at yet.There was a similar "gonna blow your minds" comment last year… and a few months later, Daz introduced dForce. There have been a lot of updates to dForce mentioned in the Change Log. That alone has me excited for the next beta release. Now I'm hopping on first one foot and the other, like little kid, impatient to find out what this "new functionality in content and Studio" actually is…!
I'm gonna say fiber based dynamic hair and a morph brush. Or, better yet, a new autofit that makes the old one look like child's play. Hey, a girl can dream ;).

There's already been "hints" I've seen in the beta for maybe something like that. We'll have to see. But I did guess right about dforce coming by clues in that beta, so.....
(still trying to decide what "convert ribbons to lines" and "convert tubes to lines" might be for) ;).

Leon not part of the G8-family?Though presumably items that work with dForce might be adjusted to fit the base pose (or a specially made pose) and then simulated.
In fact Autofit is an "very old" feature, dForce is maybe a more "efficient" method today.
AutoFit, however, requires a clone shape - distributing a Genesis clone for Leon would require licensing from Daz, just as a Leon clone for a Genesis would require a license from Vyusur
Ok, so I know I can’t send the morph of the shape I made to sorta match the shape of Genesis 8 male to a Vyusur, but it is it acceptable to write down all the parameter dials I changed to get Leon to that shape? Or is that still against the Eula because of the shape since it’s not the actual obj or duf file?
Animated props, need help please !Have you cosidered animating it via morph? You wouldnt have to rig it, although im not sure it'd move as you intended. You do this:
- export your helmet as helmet.obj - import helmet.obj in your modeling app - edit it "open" - export as openHelmet.obj
Then, back in daz and with the (closed) helmet selected:
- go Edit / Object / MorphLoader Pro - Click Choose Morph Files and select openHelmet.obj - And your morph is done! It should be under Morphs in the Parameters Tab.
Just a couple caveats: check around to pick the proper import / export options between DAZ and your modeling software, and keep in mind you need to keep the vertex order. This means that the number of polygons have to be the same both in helmet.obj and openHelmet.obj. And that implies that when you edit your object in your modeling app you cant add any new geometry, just move and transform the existing polygons.

Can I copy material and texture to another character?I'm just going by how the character looks, which in my opinion looks like a very young teen or possibly younger; especially in regards to the face, so I would assume that Ravyn for G8(if this is the character the OP was referring to) does not include the nipples or anatomical elements in any form. Imo, I would just choose a female character that is obviously an adult with acceptable skin textures for all parts and use the head & body morphs to achieve the desired appearance. Otherwise, your only other option is to load the G8 female base, dial Ravyn's morphs into the G8F base, dial up the head/face age morph, and use a suitable skin texture from a different character. Whether or not this will achieve what you're looking for, I don't know as there could be the issue of the nipple morphs not functioning or the genital mats not applying correctly. I haven't tried changing a teen-base character into an adult with all the anatomy, so I'm not much help with that. I think I remember seeing a couple of possible older versions of this character over on Renderosity if you haven't been able to find any here, but the skin will not be the same and the character probably won't come with any kind of hair.
Nancy not loadingclick on genesis 8 female and then go to the parameters tab and at the top will be a section called "currently used" which will list all morphs being used on the figure. From there you should be able to tell if the Nancy morph is active. I know lots of characters that don't look right until you have the addon skin on them also and render it.
New Dforce morphTry using the Parameters pane, instead of the Shaping pane.
No morph dials for this there either.
dForce QuestionAnother way to say what the others have said is, dForce is non-selective. It will attempt to simulate everything vislble. Items that do not have a dForce modifier applied will work as if the dForce Static Modifier was applied and dForce will use those objects to calculate collision—even if the object is "20 feet" away. Leaving these other things visible will slow down the simulation process.
Best practice with dForce is to hide everything not needed for the drape. If a clothing item, for example, doesn't need to drape onto the nearby coffee table, hide the coffee table. And so on.
After you've successfully simulated an object, you can use an option in the Parameters tab to "Freeze Simulation." With that applied, the object will not simulate when running dForce. But hitting the "Clear" button will clear all simulation data in the scene, including those with Freeze Simulation enabled!
If you're feeling adventurous, you can turn the finished simulation into a morph for that object. I've posted a "How To" in my dForce thread here.
Possible to make changes to erc morph without breaking other morphs linked to it?I have a mouth expression and an eyebrow expression created using erc. I erc them both as part of a full face morph. However if I make changes to the mouth expression by baking/refreezing the erc morph, it will break the full face morph and I have to remake it. Is there a way to make changes to the mouth morph without breaking the full face morph?

The basic idea is to create a "G8M shape" (sometimes adjusted to get a better conversion) morph for Leon, save it as a morph asset, then edit the morph asset properties to resave it as a clone morph.
