"No deltas for morph, skipping node."
Just a note to say thanks for the original question, and for this discussion that helped me solve my issue. In my case I was trying to create a morph for a dress which I had
draped in dForce. But I was getting the error message that is the subject of this topic. Specifically it was a V4 garment that I had fit to a G3, dforced, then exported. It
didn't take the morph _on a dress I had not yet fit to G3_ Once I fit it to her, that switched the rigging to match my export, and loading the morph worked as expected.
I didn't know the rigging needed to match for morph loading, thanks all!
How to load a character faster? [solved with a workaround]It could be a complete coincidence, but I didn't notice much of a slowdown until the new G3 to G8 character transfer scripts came out. Once I started using those, and transferred a few characters, my G8F's have been laggy. Loading a blank G8F in a blank scene isn't so bad, but once I apply a character to it and then start posing it gets slow. And if I ever need to zero the character pose or clear the scene I might as well go get a coffee. I can't imagine it's any fault of the character transfer tools themselves, it's just right around that same time everything started to get slow. Maybe it's because I now have all those extra transferred G3 to G8 morphs in the background.
One thing I don't understand is why does loading one character require the loading of -all- the morphs in the library? Say if one character uses 15 morphs and you have 200 installed, why is not just loading the 15 morphs it needs? I won't pretend to know the mechanics behind the scenes of how things work but it feels like that's how it should be and it would save with load times to boot. I'm entirely too lazy to start shuffling my morphs around and then moving them back if I need them. I have a hard enough time remembering things I've bougt in the past as it is. I'd likely just move them and forget them completely.
How to delete/rename Favorites? What is this in relation to? I gather not the Favourites group in the Parameters pane (if it is, just click the heart icon on the property you wish to unfavourite).

there.
and the Fav vor the sliders... I have NO diea for what they are... I can't rightclick anywhere to select some of my fav. sliders... so... I dont know for what they are :(
But I saw them on one clothes item which I got for a pull down morph and that slider was indeed good :D so the creator marked it, to help finding the best slider :)
The Mac FAQ@aararibelcaado-- Hi, and thank you greatly for continuing to respond to my questions.
Well, I used to use Reality for DS because I did not like 3Delight as a rendering agent. But, transferring shaders to LuxCore was a big pain. Did I save any time? Nope. Once iRay became available, even though it's CPU rendering, I liked that so much better than 3Delight that I stayed with DS rendering. I use Poser, too, but I liked the Firefly renderer much better than 3Delight, and then when Superfly became available, based on Cycles, well, that blew me away and I stopped using Reality and LuxCore for Poser.
What you said about having a GPU-focused render box running Windows for rendering and simulations where Nvidia cards give you an advantage: That sounds massively interesting. But how would that work? Is there some way to transfer a large DAZ Studio scene .duf file from a Mac to a Windows machine, and have all of the necessary components in the .duf file? (i.e., characters, materials, props, etc.) Or, would I have to transfer the entire DAZ set of folders with data/People etc. from my Mac to a Windows machine? If it's the latter, then wouldn't I be setting the scene up on a Windows machine to be certain that all of the file links will hold? Sorry, but I don't understand. Please explain. The GPU-focused render box running Windows sounds excellent, if the .duf file can be transferred via a flash drive, for example. Can it?
How to load a character faster? [solved with a workaround]Can somebody sketch out a general workflow for dealing with extra morphs that you don't need for a scene? I'm not sure where I need to go. I can write powershell scripts OK but I'm not exactly sure what needs to be done. I've slowed down enough that I now think thrice about buying anything morph related (such as I bought nothing in the recent morph sale) since I now have to think about whether the benefits of the pack will outweight the increased (however slight) slowness of loading.

This helped me a lot.Basically, I moved *all* morphs to a different directory (moving them is fast in windows). Then loaded the scene, DS complained that it's missing a bunch of morphs. I took note of those, moved those back to their original location, and reloaded the scene, saving--in my case--4+ minutes per scene. Batch rendering 50 images with the same characters means I saved over 3 hours of loading time this way.

Can I use two file locations for Daz3D files?Hello, I am going to start using a new computer soon, so obviously I am going to copy all of my files (textures, templates etc.) in the Daz3D folder to the new one, BUT not on it's hard drive, and this is why. Right now the Daz3D folder is about 617.23 GB while the new hard drive is only 500 GB, so I am planning to transfer these to an external hard drive of 1 Terabyte and connect it, AND then use this 500 GB new computer hd for those files which I will install from this day onwards, I hope you understood what I am saying, Old files on this backup drive, while new files on new computer hard drive. So my question is: Can I make Daz3D detect two file locations, as some of my scenes which I will open need to use the files from the 1TB while the new scenes from the 500GB? Also, how do I set these locations in the software?
animates blocks for Horse2, dragon3, cat8 ?The last cat I really bothered with was the Poser 4 cat. Couldn't pose it like my real cat (one in my avatar) nor morph it to look even vaguely like him. I inspected the MilCat hard to see if it suffered the same problems, and came to the conclusion that it did, so passed on having one. I do really want a good cat model to be available. My life is infested with them, but sadly they're missing from my renders.

Richard.
Have you looked at the HIvewire cat?
Not seriously, yet. It looks interesting, but looks to me like it's sort of V4 quality rather than G3/G8 quality. With LAMH dialled down so a machine can cope, the fur also looks a bit thin & sparse, and the breeds.. Well, I'm looking for a good Maine Coon. Still.

Richard.
Anubis Genesis 2 Male to Genesis 3 Textures Help?!You would need to use the Map Transfer utility in DS to convert the maps to work on the bse Genesis 2 Male UVs, or any other UV that you have supported on Genesis 3.
Anubis Genesis 2 Male to Genesis 3 Textures Help?!The legacy UVs product won't give you Anubis UVs, only the base G2M one, and there's no way to simply "copy them over". You would need to convert the textures to G2M UVs to use them on G3M.
You may be able to do this with the Map Transfer feature in DS.
Anubis Genesis 2 Male to Genesis 3 Textures Help?!Hello,
I wanted to create Genesis 3 Male Anubis from Genesis 2 Male. So far I got the morph but when I tried to add the texture from Anubis to Genesis 3 Male it didn't work. I got all the legacy UVs products for my Daz3D and it still didn't work out. So when I look at the UV Set on the Genesis 2 Male one it said that it has Anubis UV and when I look at Genesis 3 Male it doesn't have it even though I converted it from Genesis 2. Can someone please help me this problem? How do I copy the Anubis UV from Genesis 2 to Genesis 3? Thank you
transferring RigThey have to line up in the zero pose. Theer is, in the Joint Editor tool option menu, an option to Bake Rotations which could be used to make a pose lining the figure up with the suit a temporary zero pose, from which you could run the Transfer Utility; then you'd take the newly rigged figure, apply the opposite bends to that so it lined up with th default zero pose of the figure, and bake those rotations. A hard-surfce model like that is certainly going to need editing of the weight maps and adjustment morphs once the basic rig is transferred.
Real Looking diaper for G8/3Sixus1's baby for Genesis 8 female not only includes a better looking morph than the rather... eeeh ones Daz produced (I use the daz baby head, sixus baby body) but also includes a Diper!
I have the Six1 and... it have 1. no textures and 2. it doesnt look soo good :/ There is also the Millenium 3(?) baby, but that is now not in my list but that diaper doesnt look that good...
The on on renderotica looks okay from the morphs, but the preview picture looks not soo good.... and I know a lot "adult diaper lovers" love those ugly plastic diapers... and kinda crazy there is only ONE diaper on renderotica... did assume there are more for all the ADBL derps and derpinas :D (for me it looks crazy when a big human wears a diaper and all the baby stuff^^....)
New User! Have located files and body but can't get them to transfer on...Hi all! Brand new out of the box user here! Okay, so I've navigated getting all downloaded and set-up. I started shopping and found an outfit I wanted to buy. It required that I also buy Victoria 4.2 base, which I have done. I've located the files within the program, have loaded the Victoria base, but no matter what I do, I can't seem to get the clothes to go onto the woman. (Sorry if I sound like I don't have a clue - I pretty much don't!) Here's a screenshot of what I'm seeing. Am I missing something really obvious?
high resolution morph-skip baseStill nothing has changed in 2020 I gues? I am trying to make a HD morph of GEN8F. So I can only import G8F base as morph, right? :/
Yes.

Muscle-Based Deformation take 2Male version with clavicle-arm-forearm movement: https://imgur.com/a/0IFJIHc
The muscle action is more apparent on a muscular character and the previous versions had some glaring mistakes I did not notice. Now they're fixed.
Used the Adjust Rigging to Shape tool to transfer the skeleton over. Absolutely fantastic tool.

Morph Loader Pro not workingNope. I set it to base resolution and removed eye-lashes and the morph loader ran without any warnings. Thank you!
Had the same problem. Only deleting lashes didn't help. Only setting to base didn't help. Had to do both at the same time. Now it works.
