how to export weapon's parameter to blender use Diffeomorphic
The difference I see is that one is a actor morph that you can import as custom morph. While the other is a pose control that you can't import as custom morph, but I'm not sure why. May be you should provide a test scene and a link to the product for reference. I'm not an expert at rigging and other people at diffeo may help you better.

p.s. Just a wild guess, may be the slider is just a link to a pose and you can load the pose instead ?

My best guess is the bow one is a morph, but the sliders on the shotgun is just transforming pieces around.
They all control the bones and are poses.
Creating character for Daz storeAnother suggestion, at least from my own customer perspective, is that if you're going to go with the vampire route, can you make the fangs a separate morph? His shape looks good for a "regular human" toon character. There's some characters I have that have a nice face shape, but I have to figure out how to dial out the monster teeth. (The worst was Damien Demon for G3M. Both head morphs had the split monster teeth.)
I'm not asking for a human version skin either. I can use from other characters. Him having a monstrous/inhuman skin is fine to me. (Certainly didn't bother me when I bought Frost Maiden HD.) Good luck!

You are making clothes with Marvelous Designer? Then you should love the product that is soon coming to the store, "three click" body/shape morph creations for clothes. That product sounds interesting, will keep my eyes open for that one.
My project is for real life clothing and interiors, but will most likely make them available in 3D as well
Kommer själv från Västkusten, eller jag kanske ska säga Bästkusten..."wink"...haha. Bor sen länge tillbaka i Sydney, planerade att flytta hemöver igen...men så kom Covid...så, ja, vi får se när det nu blir.
Thanks again for assistance, have not yet heard from Daz support so would still have been stuck. Tack så hjärtligt!
any help for getting a girl from 'Hawaii' for G3/G8F?Am looking for something facially like in the pictures of a Hawaiian native girl. Is there any sort of morph face package for this perhaps or a character? help appreciated thx.
*Released* Natural Eyes II - Merchant Resource for Genesis 8.1 Male and Females [Commercial]Nope. You have a couple of choices. By default everything is off. Otherwise, a whole bunch of people would probably be super annoyed with me.
If you don't want to mess with morphs, you can choose to just apply the presets: Corneo ON, Iris Shape ON etc. which are under the utilities folder. I consider them convenience presets.
You can also choose to dial in a little or a lot under the morph dials. They will start with Natural Eyes II and will be under the eyes portion of the figure on the shaping tab.
Iray PBR renders fairly quick. If you have tried out the new Victoria 8.1 you know just how quick they render. I think they are lovely, and look wonderful under regular bright lighting.
The Iray settings take a lot longer to render. If you own the old set, you will know just how much longer they take, but boy do they look beautiful under dramatic lighting.
For best results, use the cornea bulge preset no matter the setting you choose : Iray or PBR
Use the Iris Shaping preset no matter preset you choose as well. Iray or PBR
The Iris Convex is more scene/preference related. This is meant to be used in conjunction with the cornea bulge. Use this if you want a more defined Limbal Ring and are using the IRAY presets. Use this if you are using dramatic lighting and what the irises to light more correctly.
By default, the sclera normal is just kinda bumpy. There is an alternate sclera normal available that kinda adds a veiny appearance instead if thats your thing.
The material thumbnails: I dont think Ive ever rendered so many thumbnails for a product ever. They also show the difference in appearance between iray and pbr so theres a whole lot less guessing on which way you want to go.
Question about ArtStationI think there are 2 related but not completely overlapping issues
1. Artstation is primarily intended to serve as a portfolio site for people who are working in or looking to work in the vfx and video game industry. It has other ancillary funcions, but that is its primary function. and those ancillary functions also relate to the 1st: if you look at their tutorial section, for instance - a lot of them are tutorials on how to work in the industry. As Artsation is a site pretty explicitly for people working or looking to work in the industry I don't feel any more excluded than, say. a site geared towards painting might "exclude" me
2. Daz Studio and similar have a reputation for people just plugging suff they bought without any tweaking or "work" which, while it is not completely untrue, I would argue it frequntly is. One can use default everything - click a character, click the lighting, click the background, click the pose, and get something with zero tweaking, limited thought, and 2 minutes of effort. This is something that is much harder to do in other programs. Mind you most people do not do this in DS either. At Artstation there is generally an implicit understanding that there is something the artist made beyond just the composition: most commonly modelling or texturing, but also things like lighting. But again using DS in no way precludes this. I have DS renders where I: made the clothing, sculpted the morph, textured the character, set up the lighting from scratch, and made the hair. But I can completly understand some warriness if one is trying to show off ones character modelling and skin textureing abilities and theres no good way to differentiate ones art from 50 million renders of V8 (mind you an alternate fix would be better tagging options ie you have to put the software used and people could block irrelevant software)
How is HeadShop 13 for realism? It is Worth buying? Please help.JENR8 said:
I have used Headshop since the beginning days of Faceshop. I have never liked the way the eyes look. Has it fixed the eyes, so they don't appear like holes or just plain off?
I am also curious if there's other 3D face modelers that are better from pictures, or is Headshop 13 the way to go and worth it?
Worth it? That's rather subjective. We have 3 ways to make likenesses from pictures, each plugin or program has its pros and cons. Face Transfer you already have in D/S so you can discover how much you like or {don't} that one.
FaceGen is the other one which will make morphs and textures for Genesis through to G8. I have been having some fun with that one. If you want to see some examples, in the freebies thread - the one suggesting to be nice, I've shared a few ;-) Accuracy does require mastering where one places the dots. It has an option to "keep the eyes round" which I do use.
HeadShop13 places the dots for us :-) I just leave those dots where it places them. It does a better job than I do. I don't recall it messing up the eyes.

Sounds like something could have gone wrong with your moving of the library. I mean... if you remove the external drive with the library and then still load your character then it doesn't look like you really moved the library at all. Where is that character data coming from?
I created all my characters using Daz Studio Genesis 3 and 8 characters. Daz Studio loads up from my C: drive and it has a copy of My Library located under users-public-public documents-My DAZ 3D Library. On my F; drive I have a My DAZ 3D Library with all my content. I copied the whole My DAZ 3D Library to the external hard drive. This is a fresh installation of Daz3D 4.15, so the only content is from the Daz Central installation. I installed default resources for Daz3D 4.15, character essentials, dforce essentials, face transfer, Octane render kit, and required PostgresSQL CMS and PostgresSQL CMS from Valentina CMS conversion. I did not have this issue with the 4.14 version, but 4.15 and the new 8.1 have cause these problems.
True Feelings Expressions for Genesis 8.1 Females promo character ID ?would like to know, too... not sure it's g8.1 base... i'm thinking of a personal morph ?

you will break jcm's etc if everything is baked into one dial. If a used morph relies on jcm's etc it is best that morphs function is preserved as well as its jcm's. So yes you can get one dial that relies on nothing, but don't expect it to function remotely the same, and all you will have is a shape that looks the same but the minute you pose it it will not work as the source. That's what I learned the hard way... unfortunately this limits the number of morphs I hoped to reduce by porting my characters from G3 to G8 and speed up DS Stil, a bit OT, but while I have you: any projection on the transgender X-Transfer and G8 -> G3 version?
BTW If you could come up with a tool that allows to manually select and redirect JCMs to a baked morph this would be a hot seller, I think...
Thats not how it works. JCM's will be looking for the shape morphs they were designed for. If the morph it is looking for is baked into something else all links get broken.
"any projection on the transgender X-Transfer and G8 -> G3 version"
No idea......We need to get the G8 to G3 module out first before we do that.
Face Transfer On Genesis 8.1im been trying to get face transfer working for 8.1 and i was wandering how i could do it or if its even avalible for 8.1 yet
Issues installing freebies (morph and texture)First the obvious question: are you sure those were meant for Genesis 3?
Anyway, this may provide some useful information on the issue of your morphs: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/403231/installing-a-3rd-party-morph-suite
Textures are something different, they're often already assigned with specific character presets. Fair disclaimer: my experiences with them outside of the smart contents pane are limited, so keep this in mind. Having said that: I'd start looking into the 'Surfaces' pane. Select your Genesis 3 figure, open 'Surfaces' and then check out the different skin options. That's where I'd start.
Hope this can help you out a bit.

this does not adjust rigging. That has to be done prior to any morph you decide to include in your dial.
Hmm... another one. Correct me where I go astray here: While you (and me in my library) have a tool with Shape Rigger+ this function is not included and rigging to shape nneds tobe done BEFORE using Dial Fusion. But the way ShapeRigger+ is set up I need to have a dial to favorize it in order to rig..... so I need to adjust rigging to shape manually, which to my experience basically mandates the figure being zeroed out - wseems like a hen/egg problem to me at least when it comes to figure creation.

Daz To Blender Bridge 2.1.0 --- NOT Exporting selected Morphs!Hello DAZ Friends,
For some reason, the plugin is NOT exporting the morphs I selected in the morph dialog window in DAZ. When the character gets to Blender has no morps at all.
The only way I get some morphs exported is if I check the "Include Minimal Morphs" option but than I get the preset morphs, not my "custom" selected morphs!
I'm using DAZ 4.15 and Blender 2.91 (64bits)
Is this happening on your end as well? Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thank you!
PS - Is there a way to import CVS rules file with this plugin?Issues installing freebies (morph and texture)Hi everyone!, I've downloaded a face morph and a face texture from deviantart, I can't apply the texture nor the morph to the Genesis 3 female model, can anyone help me solve this issue?

@vwrangler Thanks for the review. :)
Has anyone gotten characters from sithlordsims? (elsewhere) I just picked up Karl but I won't be installing him right away. One of his characters (Pedro) has the most exotic leopard/pawprint tattoos- really cool!
I've got four: Alex, Benicio, Coilin for G3M and Archie for G8M, as well as the ABC Genetics package they put out to bring the shapes for Alex-Benecio-Coilin from G3M to G8M. They tend to a certain sameness -- SithlordSims is fond of a cerain face shape, and a certain type of long, slim, very muscular body -- but I like them overall. Coilin is kind of amusing; he has what Sithlordsims calls a "big dad" morph, to which I can but say: I do not think that means what they think it means. (Buff with a belly that still has a six-pack is not really a dadbod, no.) One thing to be aware of with Coilin is that he has Leo-style size and scaling -- he's supposed to be about 6-5, and his height is all in his body slider -- so if you try to combine him with another character, they're going to wind up being very tall.
Daz to Unreal Update 4.0Is there some special prerequisite for an environment to be compatible with the plugin (i.e. naming convention, geometry type) ? The environment transfer doesn't appear to work with DAZ primitives or imported objs.
Not intentionally. I tested it by loading a bunch of different Preload environments in Daz Studio and transferring them. If something doesn't work, it's probably just a bug because of a case I never hit.
