Iray, not iRay. It isn't the textures that are Iray - you could use them with a suitable 3Delight shader too. You either need suitable UVs on the figure in DS, and I'm not sure how well that would work, or you need to bake from one map to another - e.g. in a modelling application shape the oen so the eyes matched the other's in size adn shape, apply the maps, apply blank maps to the Victoria 4 eyes and fo a texture bake.Blender can, I believe, do this.

Yeah, hopefully Richard will have seen this before and know of something better. If not that is at least a plan Z if nothing else works.

Well, perhaps one thing you can do without resorting to digging around in the database is use a script to list the categories of one of the assets that is tagged in one of the cloned categories. There is a script on the wiki that can do this. For this script you would just replace the line at the bottom ("People/Genesis 3 Female/Characters/Victoria 7.duf") with the relative path of one of the asset items that is categoried in one of the clones. To be more helpful in this instance, I would recommend making a small change to the last print line to the below:

print( " - '" + oAsset.categories.join( "'\n - '" ) + "'" );

This will just wrap the Category paths in single quotes so that you can see if any of those contain a space at the beginning or end.

You can paste the code into the "Script IDE" panel (add this if you on't have it) and click the execute button which will display the results underneath as per the attached example.

It will be interesting to see if both clones are listed in the output. This does not list the category IDs tho unfortunately.

How could I get iRay G3 or G8 eye Textures on Victoria 4 ?  V4 doesn't have the option of changing UVs - does it?

my recent computer problem caused me to uninstall the previous daz, but when I deleted the previous daz 3d, I transferred all the files and materials in My DAZ 3D Library to my mobile hard disk, but when I installed After the new daz4.21, After importing all the files into the Content Library, the texture of the material cannot be displayed (the character becomes black and white, Victoria 4, michel4 cannot display the skin texture, and the skin texture of other poser characters cannot be displayed), I try to re- I downloaded the model material of the character and imported it into the Content Library, but the skin texture of the character still cannot be displayed, what should I do? please help me thanks a lot

A few things to keep in mind when looking at Page Counts in the library is that those numbers can be deceptive.  For example, if you buy a lot of bundles, there's an extra group ltem added to your library for most of them, and that can add up.  For example, if I do a search for just the word bundle, I'm current showing 47 pages of just that alone, and most (but not all) of those are redundant as the individual items in the bundle are usually (but not always) also shown individually.  47 pages = 1880 items in the product library, so that's a significant offset. 

Similarly, older buyers like miyself know that they had to buy more items than newer customers did in order to get a comparable product, as in the early days we often had to buy the figure broken down into far more components = for example, even though I had Victoria 3, to purchase the complete base Stephanie Petite (aka Stephanie Petite) figure, my library shows that I had to acquire the following items:

·  Stephanie 3.0 Petite Starter Pack

·  Stephanie 3.0 Petite Head Morphs

·  Stephanie 3.0 Petite Body Morphs

·  Stephanie 3.0 Petite Universal Texture Maps (Standard Res)

By comparison, when I bought Stephanie 4, I only had to buy the base genesis morphs once to cover ALL of the characters of that generation, and all of Step 4's skins came with the S4 base figure. And that pattern is reproduced for most of the generation 3 figures and many of the clothing items were also configured to a single figure, so I had to buy a new version of the Morphing Fantasy Dress for each new figure, as well as seperate versions of each of the MFD ADD-ons.  Needless to say, that all adds quite a few extra items to the ultimate product library total.       

 

To the OP's question: There are many characters in this store that look Southeast Asian / Malaysian. Malays have interbred with so many different nations that their different types/appearances rival or surpass the varieties found among Black Americans. This week I was doing a fresh install of my Daz library, and I needed to save space (also cut G8F load time). Having seen this thread, I jotted down characters that could easily pass for Melayu or Indonesian (by and large the same people group, along with Filipinos), and I left out the conventionally Indian and Chinese types---since there are a ton of Northeast Asians available---although both groups together comprise a large portion of Malaysia's population.

Hello!!!   since a lot of time, I was using poser to manually install daz content, (runtime, librairies, textures, etc...); for one reason or another, I never been comfortable with the automatic installer, and do it manually; ok, my hard disk crashed, I buy a new computyer, I don't have poser (the old one I had), no idea where, since 15 years, the disk is!

I try to install an equivalent workflow, with daz studio, buit don't understand, with the DIM, how it works; I mean: is it possible to install a version of daz studio (or an old of poser), find in "softwares, etc" the "runtime" folder, and re install manually Michale or Victoria, or tghe stuff I own?

I'd presume everything is complete because the first time I tried to load it there was a file missing, then I put that file in and the morph loaded (on that 'lucky' figure), then in subsequent tries when I loaded the morph, there's that very quick pop up which disappears but nothing happens, it doesn't prompt me to locate a missing file so yeah I think I have all the files. I don't have the ZIP, there doesn't seem to be a way to retrieve it as well.

She Freak is a muscularity morph for V4, https://www.daz3d.com/she-freak-v4 . On DAZ 4.16 I noticed that these morphs don't show up, there's a red dot next to the icon in the Content Library, and the product itself is blank, so I had to copy and paste all the files from my old PC's DAZ into this 4.16's folder. 

When I went to Poser Formats --> Pose --> DAZ's Victoria 4 --> Morph Injections, I could see the She Freak files there so I loaded it and it worked on a V4 figure. However, it failed to load on subsequent V4 figures - the morph doesn't show up as a dial at all. I ran DZcreateexpfiles-V4bat, doesn't work. How did it work only on that 'lucky' V4 figure and why won't the morphs work again???

Not sure if this is the right thread. I bought the Daz Horse 3 mega bundle yesterday. Mainly because I wanted the saddles and the poses and carts a bonus. My issue is I can't find a slider for altering the length of the stirups. I thought this would be a given in any saddle or how do you use characters of different dimensions. I have Victoria 9 on a female thoroughbred in a ride pose with the English tack. Now the pose does say "standard horse 3". It shouldn't realy matter, just a tweek of the pose not feet dangling in the air. There is that. And the fact she specified an American Victorian house, so my brain wasn't exactly considering the whole French Revolution thing.

I have a bunch of eclectic items saved for future coupon use. So, I'm perfectly fine waiting to see what happens to that item, or just forgetting about it if they're gone for good. Currently, the main index for the full outfit has no mention of known issues or updates. I'm just riddled with curiosity.

1. Has anyone who's been around here longer seen this happen before?
2. Could it be a glitch in the site? I checked on PC and mobile.
3. What would happen if I or someone else bought the full outfit?
4. Would the missing items be there, or would you be paying full price for almost nothing? However, it is on sale at the moment, but I'm hesitant to burn any budget on a curiosity.
5. It's also an item in two "Crow 8.1" bundles. This must be either intentional or something Daz is aware of?
6. Maybe somewhere like Victoria's Secret issued a cease and desist? It has that winged lingerie look, but so do most costumes for festivals like Carnival.
7. Perhaps there was some technical error with certain pieces of the outfit?
8. Why not pull the entire page regardless of what reason?

Anyway, I'm sure there is a simple reason and I am overthinking it. Too many detective serials, I deduce.

Just for context, I'm always happy to see more of xtrart-3d's stuff. I think the Tactical Outfit was the first clothing item I bought from the store and is still one of my favorites! I had thought those wings looked really interesting and would be fun to try mixing with other outfits as accents or for embellishing something like the "evenstar wings". Add a bit of color and flare here and there, ya know? 

I suppose I'd be a bit more bothered if I had unknowingly bought a bundle and expected it to be available. I hope no one has that issue and it gets fixed soon!

So when I use the very beautiful Queen of Darkness Expansion for Mystique 2 , and the shapings included in the product, on my character which has only Voluptuous and Olympia as morphs (aside from the breast, there I have some third party product involved, but that's not the point here) has those weird artefacts appearing (Picture 1) . Changing the size of the clothing parts to the point the garters and stockings are way too large will erase some of them, but not even all. (Pic.2)

Victoria 8 has the same problem, and she's not especially thick...(Pic.3)

Could someone give me an hand here ? I have no idea what can cause that...

 

The Scarlet Pimpernel (set during the French revolutionary Terror, as I recal) would be a good forty years before Victoria came to the throne, so blame the brief for any confusion.

P3D's new Soft Expressions look natural, and they may help Genesis 9 deliver on the hopes I initially had after seeing Victoria 9 promos. If only the promos were labeled with their actual names so I could use them as a quick guide.
