I used to heavily advocate for listing all the products, but I've gotten over it.  On one hand, it's beneficial for Daz for the consumers to more easily access products used on promo pages.  On the other hand, it's extra work done by the PA to essentially advertise for other PA's products that will probably have no financial benefit (unless they're also listed on that product).  I think the only way for it to really happen is for Daz themselves to do it, since it's them who would really have the most to gain from it.

Either way, I agree the forums will always be the best go-to place, as it has been for a while. On the topic of sharing the percentages used for sliders, one of my favorite examples is from chevybabe25.  Like the more recent dForce Bookworm Hair for Genesis 9.  Her products always showcase nice combinations with Daz Original models.

Original Genesis was a unisex base, but the bulk of the content was categorized by Victoria 5 and Michael 5, so looking for traditionally gendered male or female clothing was pretty easy. Genesis 9 doesn't have gendered clothing searches, so a customer looking for traditionally male clothes has to look through page after page of content, hoping they will spot something useful by the main promo image. It's frustrating and, personally doesn't make me feel welcome.

Yes, we've seen 5.x used in discussion about the development builds and SDK versions based on Qt5. They switched to 6 when they upgraded to Qt6.

But I personally prefer to the way that Marvelous Designer (Win) adopted, which has been developed with Qt but never binded its versions to Qt ~~

She Walks Among Us

In the 1980's and 1990's the UK's Victorian towns had been neglected for far too long. Too little investment, contracting industry, high unemployment, and too little care over the environment. It filtered through the towns into a general lack of effort. Here is an image showing something of what it felt like at times. 

Fortunately, the neglected buildings are now - by and large - appreciated and complete towns have benefitted.

FW Naida, Rattlepaws, Little Urban Disaster, 2 Northern Terrace Street Back Yards and Northern Terrace Street. Naida's clothing is from RPublishing PeaceKeeper G3F (can't remember the shoes) and she has Juliet G2F hair by SWAM. The sun-sky settings are UltraScenery XT Materials and Skies Early Morning - worth getting in a sale for the sky settings alone if you do outdoor scenes, even if you don't have USXT. Needs more rubbish on the street, though. In the early 1990's our council street sweeper contractors came round the Victorian streets every 5 years (the 'Posh' bits of town were done bi-weekly), just before contract renewal, and left the muck to build up between times. In a couple of streets (ours included) the residents swept the street themselves every now & again because no-one else was going to, least of all the people paid to do so.

Oh, and the same style of terrace houses appear in the industrial towns in the south of England, they aren't restricted to the North, I do think the name is slightly misleading. The houses in NTS are a price step above my first house (no bay window) and a step below my second (with an inset porch and an eyebrow roof over the single story bay window).

Richard those errors are for the base Michael 4, Victoria 4, etc.

I ran the "bat" files  you mentioned, and the problem still exists.

I just used DIM to uninstall and reinstall  the M4 (etc) files. They work now.

Richard, please give me some credit here. As previously stated, I used DIM exclusively to install all the content.

I think someone needs to look over the content before they assume I made a mistake.

It sounds like I'll need to take some more of my valuable time to provide proof of these mistakes made by DAZ.

I'm already finding new problems. None of the "major generation 4 figures" will load in DAZ Studio. That includes Victoria 4, Kids 4, Michael 4, Freak 4. I get the following error.

I think DAZ should hire me for Quality Control.

Hi there, 

this may be a noobish question - I just got Magic Brush's Xaria after being swayed by the nice promo pics. However, when loading her into DAZ, she has almost glowing skin. I've included a picture with Victoria as a comparison, using a Click'n'Render-Preset. A snippet from the promos is on the right.

I tried messing with the surface settings, looking for reflectivity and the like, but I don't really know much about how all the knobs and sliders work together. Is there something I can fix, or does the promo use a particular environmental setting?
