It is a trial for the New encrypted format, and only available through Connect. The promotion says
Thanks to ye, I had not noticed it.
I bought the one of the products and I got the other items free, but they are not showing up for me to install in Daz Connect or else I am doing something wrong. I followed those instruction I found.
Do you have to buy the first product though DAZ connect as well?
No, buying though the store should work.
Bought it through the store, opened DAZ, went to connect, and now it wants to charge m e for the 3 free products.
I'm not sure what to do. I'm in DS 4.9, freshly updated, and logged in -but I see no way to find what I bought and download it, and it hasnt done so on its own.

Same for me. I thought maybe you had to click on something to get it to refresh. But I don't see anything. Just a way to do a manual download. Guess I will try that. But maybe I should wait until support responds to my ticket.
There might be a delay before they are seen as purchased in the connect tab. Or maybe try to disconnect and then reconnect to your account in DS to see if it refreshes your purchase list? (I suppose there's a way to do that)

Ok, I found it!
CLick on Products in Smart Content, then look at the tabs at the *bottom* of the Smart Content pane and select "available." THEN select wardrobe from the list on the left and you should find it. DOuble click to download it. Then sort as normal and plop the clothes on him.
Also, I thought this was for g3 and not g2, so I also had a g3 loaded for whom smart content wouldnt find this outfit. Just in case you are too.

Thanks, Ademnus, I found the troubadour product using your method, but I also got the extra material pack for it and I don't see a way to install that. I thought it might show up under materials, if I had the troubadour selected in the scene. What makes it difficult is that all the products that could be downloaded through connect show and not just the new ones.
It did for me. Once I selected the clothes, I saw it under available and had to click to dl it too. I think maybe the system needs a little tweaking but I do like this alot.
OK. Thanks. That worked for me too. At first I lost all those buttons that said Available, etc. Then I clicked on the back button and I found them again. Once I had the outfit selected and I clicked on the available button, I was able to download the extra textures too.
I ordered the Dragon Armour more than 3 hours ago and it is still not there. I know how to use Connect as I've been using it in the beta for a few weeks, and I'd already tried and checked everything suggested in this thread. It is simply not there and neither is the non Connect only item I bought at the same time, although that appeared in DIM immediately.
does this outfit work in carrara?

Maybe there is a way to do this already, and I don't know how, but...
I think there should be a way to just show an order like in the DIM. I was just thinking of when I purchase a bundle. There will be all kinds things things listed. Things I didn't even know I was getting. I would hate to have to look for all those items one by one. And how would I even know to look for all of them. All I know is I bought a bundle. I could look at the product page, but some items might even have more than one installer.
There's a way to sort by purchase date - newest first. There might be other ways, but this always works for me

No I don't—I'm aware of that feature and I turned it off.
Also, I installed 4.9 last night and the 3 free bundles did not appear then (I did log on), but when I logged on to Connect this morning I saw them pop into the Available folder. This seems to indicate some kind of delay. It does show, however, that my Connect is working in general. I just installed one of the bundles now and that was fine.
The Troubadour product and the Dragon Armor are amongst the products that DAZ is using to trial encrypted Connect-only content. Unfortunately Carrara cannot install encrypted content. I have no idea whether this will change, but if it does I doubt it will be very soon.
if I could only get the damned 3 freebies to install through DAZ connect ie find them, I would buy that one to test if can be resaved as support asset for carrara.
but as I have had no success getting any DAZ connect only content will not buy it to try
