I need to highlight this because I complained about these things so much over the past month or two.
The promos for these two new characters are magnificent. The makeup pages are fantastic and it even highlights the clothing and other character shown and where to find them.
Promos aside, they come with so many makeup and bonus options, well beyond what you'd normally expect from a character. So much going on here to sit up and take notice of.

It's rare I have issues with FWSA.
They look great (really great), I agree.
Saving my pennies, so just getting the hair, but I will get one of the characters eventually, and possibly two.
I swore that I would be more careful when purchasing 3D contents this new year. I woke up this morning and just couldn't help myself in getting this bundle. What an instant buy for me!?! I especially like both Taia and Samira characters. They really look superb. Thank you.

I can never work out if you're Fred or an invisible F sneaking around in the shadows and only coming out when Sabby isn't there.

Well, my New Year Resolution was to hold off buying any more female characters for a while except at deep deep discount (saving money in the hope some more males appear). But when I saw that bundle it shook my resolution - I like the look of everything in it (especially your new outfit, Fisty). And with the offer of a discount on January DO characters and their bundles, well that kind of gives me an excuse: maybe one of those elusive men will arrive? Ooh, my poor budget!
And I agree about the promos - they are very comprehensive (and therefore really really tempting!)

Much darker than the promos? I'm fine with it either way, just surprised.
I have these in my cart right now. They are gorgeous, and I too, vowed no more females. I really do need gen 3 males. But these are too nice to pass up.
At least in 3Delight, FW did favour brighter lighting than others which meant his maps were often unexpectedly dark using default lights. The Iray settings haven't been as marked in that but it may still be true to an extent.

Yeah, I'm guessing the promos were done with some really bright but soft area lighting, or something similar. -completely random guess-
That reminds me, there was another FW character I bought awhile ago - FW Destiny HD - that was a G2F character that came with Iray settings. With the default Iray setup, her legs faded down to this strange pale purpley-blue, but with her supplied lighting she looked flawless (and it rendered much faster.) I never could work out why the default lighting did that (never seen it on any other character.)
I thought your name was Fistandalia. Or something like it. I remember it because it reminds me of a white flower. I don't know why, but that stuck in my head.

Very much so. Now if you guys could do something similar for the males? Even a regular-sized bundle with 3-4 items would be great. Our Egyptian princesses need their Egyptian princes... Maybe an Egyptian slave pack, too, with appropriate clothing for both male and female slaves?
Isn't it Fisty & Darc? I'm betting Fisty is a dark elf, and Darc an alter ego uh friend that's a sweeping white phantom -nod-
Aurous Lights using environment 7 with lights 4 - draw dome off and a freebie background image I can't remember where I got, Samiera Outfit, Egyptian Outfit's armlets, Taia Hair, Egyptian Poses 16 and 16M slightly modified.
This is how the characters load if you use the full preset from Genesis 3 Female/Characters, with the exception of the lips which I applied the gloss off option.

I've been around for over 10 years now.. been a Daz PA for over 9 years and have over 100 products in the store, Just noticed me now? I usually do clothing, jewelry, and shaders. And yes, FWF is Fred Winkler Art + Fisty. Darc is my husband, he started helping with products a couple of years ago, mostly help with ideas and development, sometimes with UV mapping and preliminary figure setup, he leaves the tricky stuff to me. LOL
Fisty came from Fistandantalia which was my Everquest 1 character's name.. a dwarf rogue. I met Darc playing WoW, we both played black haired blood elf rogues, we met when he applied to join the guild I was in, it was like looking in a mirror in every way but gender.. kinda scary but completely awesome. But yeah, my real name is Emma. (and you have a scary good memory Jan19)
Samira is very dark rendered in low-mid lights, if you look at the popups for the Egyptian outfit you can see her applied to Josie in my standard 3 spot light setup. The lights in the bundle do a good job of making her look beautiful, but she is a bit tricky to light.
No no, noticed you plenty before (and that there was some sort of group that tended to work together a ton) but never spoken to you before. As a new person I always got the impression that PAs were mysterious never get in their way hooded types so when one replies to something I said it's like "aha! A mysterious meeting!"
Thanks for the history lesson - I always find them fascinating. I played WoW for many years too xD
I'm usually around quite a bit, though I tend to haunt Novica's and ZarconDeGrissom's art sudio threads the most these days. I always check the forums carefully when we have a big release to make sure no one has questions or problems, I get the job of group spokesman it seams, Fred is the team lead, the others have kids to corral.
I tend not to get many characters from DAZ due to the lack of nude promos and usually the ones I do have from FW are nice, but I did find that Frida had the nipples misaligned and after sending a PM never heard back, so I am even more cautious about DAZ characters, but I have to admit, these 2 do look really nice (I love darker skin).

I have no idea RiftWitch, it should be 30% off for the standard intro period but I don't know about any other special offers surrounding it.

it should love the wallet now - bought the bundle. it all works SO well. the lights alone are worth the price of the office. the Characters are perfect at distance AND tight shots!
Your not the only one with that odd leg fading out thing, Ramwolff was experiencing something like that as well (I have no clue who the figure was).

That's an excellent render, Fisty (Ix's too, very nice to see her without makeup). If I ever decide to start using Genesis 3 for my character (Smacky), I just may use this character for her (the lighter one, Taia I assume?)
I did do a double-take when I first saw the other's name though...my character's real name is Sahmika and I thought "aw great, that's a headache I don't need". ;)
