DOH!! The download link is under the Share tab. DOH!
Got a content warning, "either log in or registire". I hate that. Is there a pic with a nipple in the magazine, that make them do that?
Nudity in some of the artwork
There's a naked back, that's all I could see.. nothing to get excited over.
Yeah some places get over excited at a hint of nudity
Yea, naked robots are disgusting and should be banned!
...getting caught up after the last three months.
So how does one submit images just for the gallery? All I can find are rules for competitions.
In an effort to increase the number of tutorials and tips submitted to DS Creative each month, we want your opinion on; if there was a prize each month for the best two articles (Tutorial/Tip) from the previous issue, voted for by a public poll in our Facebook group would you be more liable to contribute some written content?
Yes
No
Maybe
Forgot to add it would be cash prize...
The cover of 19 says 17, btw.
I'm not sure about that, for me it wouldn't change much. I guess one part is that people are too timid to think their own little opinion or tip would be interesting for others, that everybody would know what I would have to say anyways (well thats at least how I feel about this).
What would encourage me is a list somewhere of all the tutorials already printed in the magazine, I have quite a few ideas I could cover and some wouldn't take too long, but I don't have an afternoon to go through every issue and write down what has already been done.
Omg lol how on earth could we miss that?!
We have a list, which can be obtained in our discussion group on fb. But ill see if I can attach it here
Just have in mind that the tuts from our first issues can be done in another point of view and or updated for the current version of daz.
And could be stuff you just found out that you wish you had known straight away when you started. We get alot of people that are new to daz or want to try it out, but as we all know it can seem a bit much if one dont know much at all about it. So anything from beginners to experienced is welcome! :)
Yes. But I have only been here a couple of months so my tips would be limited to helping newbies since thats where I am at.
Thanks, that helps a lot.
It's those adult stuff like that there greek statue Aphrodite of Milos and that David (what with those hands?!?!) by that Michelangelo fellow that our outrageous. For heaven's sake put some clothes people!
Making sure I can find this easier next month!!
True enough. These forums really are useful in figuring the endless weirdness and idiosyncrasies that surround using DAZ. The DS Creative tutorials are also really great.
I've found making notes or cutting and pasting specific form posts into a seperate document (or documents) where I keep DAZ hints is helpful, because it's always hard locating that one forum post that explains what you want.
That's why the tutorial index for DS Creative issues is so incredibly useful. I'm really glad they keep updating it.
Had to put up this link this after reading that post.
Welcome to DS Creative Issue 20 the only magazine for DAZ Studio users
http://issuu.com/philatdsc/docs/ds_creative_20
While we are happy for you to share the above link, please do not download the magazine and share elsewhere, DS Creative should only be available through www.Issuu.com
Thank you for the heads up !!
Thanks for the heads up. YAY! Nice cover! Creepy!
Thanks for another excellent issue
Thanks for the new issue - wow that cover pic (and the ones in the article it relates to) are amazing!
That was an awesome issue. Truly a great read. I loved seeing Sixus in the vendor spotlight.
And yeah, that cover...Ourak Nysot's work is incredible. I recently found her on deviantArt and her art is something of an inspiration. That cover really stands out as something unique and beautiful.
I am going to try and put something together for newbies very soon. Been a very hectic month here.
Is anyone else missing the 'T' in the big two page Wanted spread in the magazine? When I first saw it, I read "WAN ED" and I'm trying to figure out what that is until I read the bottom part of the page and figured out it was suppose to say "WANTED". How does something like that happen?
Interesting, I didn't notice online but my downloaded pdf has the "T" OK.
ETA: Went back and looked online - you're right! I wonder how that happened?
The free dress included in this issue is missing the texture files.
I thought the file size seemed a little small for a dress...but yep, the zip has an empty texture folder.
