DAZ 3D membership

Hello,
I would like to cancel my membership in DAZ 3D for personal reasons. The update of the DAZ-Studio software or the new acquisition of content is then no longer possible or intended. Can I still continue to work with the DAS Studio installed on my laptop and the content acquired over the years? And can I uninstall the DAZ Install manager? Thanks for answer, Robby.

Uninstalling DIM won't uninstall Daz Studio or your content from your computer, that much I'm sure of.

By "cancel my membership in DAZ 3D" I assume you mean deleting your account?  I would suggest you open a support ticket to ask Daz directly if you retain any rights to use your backup of the content and application once your account is gone (my personnal guess would be no as there's no way to prove your purchases anymore on their side once the account is deleted, but I might be wrong).

If you meant cancelling a Daz+ or Premier membership, you would just return to being a base member and would just lose the right to use premier-exclusive plugins and content if you were premier.

Daz Studio requires only its serial number, and content (with the exception of the Premier bonus shapes) works purely from local disc with no need for validation. Plug-ins generally also require a serial number, I am not sure if there ar any which use additional verifications teps but if so theya re not tied to a continuing Daz account as far as I know.

I agree it would still work technically as long as you have a backup of install files and serial numbers. What I'm wondering about is the licensing agreement.
