CAn someone please tell me what the hair is used here? For the life of me I cannot find it and for some reason, after all these years, DAZ Sstill hasn't thought to include a "what other products are in this picture" section. Sigh.

Thank you -- definitely not Nikan. Ashendun.... well both look too short to me and the Ashendun has more detail, though... it COULD maybe be that one with various parts hidden. It's so hard to tell.
I wonder if some combination of https://www.daz3d.com/fe-diverse-hair-vol-1-for-genesis-8-and-81-females and the add on. (See the slicked back version in the promos). I have the first set but the materials are messed up (the cap cutout opacity and normals are applying to the long hair), so I can't try it out for you. I'll put in a support ticket
Maybe this, using the Wet preset and front strands hidden. Here's how it looks in both dry and Wet 02 versions. Note that Wet-Sides are zeroed and not shown in Curently Used here (will be set to 100% if you use the Wet 02 preset).

I think @Taoz has got it. Both my second suggestion and @sid 's were created quite a bit after the image was made.
I would go with @Taoz's suggestion, if you want the closest match with the original post. You might try messaging @Ravenhair as well, they might be able to say which hair was used.
