JW Face Parts Shapes for Genesis 9 not applying to any Genesis 9 models.

I started off with a clean scene and a Genesis 9 male model and tested trying to apply different morph parts to the face and never got it to work. Is there anything I'm missing? I tried re-installing it still the same issue.

    This https://www.daz3d.com/jw-face-parts-shapes-for-genesis-9 ?

How are you installing? Are the new sliders available on the figure, and it is just the presets not working, or are the shapes themselves not loading with the figure?

  • I'm installing it using DIM and I've also tried manual....the sliders appear on the figure but when I try them they dont work....the shapes themselves are not loading at all with the figure.

I've found various PA sliders do absolutely nothing during my experimenting with G9. Just glad I got those morph packs for next to nothing.

Maybe there was a mistake while saving the morphs and none of the data related to the geometry moved by the morphs were properly saved (I have this problem with some glasses's morphs).

You can use the Geometry Tools to show the vertices moved by a morph:

    1. Activate the Geometry Editor

    2. Go into the Tools Settings tab and switch to Vertices mode

    3. Open the Parameters tab, switch it to Edit mode and right click on any of the morph for the product then click on Select Morph Vertices (warning: if you have an active camera, the camera position will be changed to center around the selected vertices, so it's best to do so without any camera active).

If it doesn't show any yellow circles, it means that morph doesn't move geometry, which can only be resolved by opening a ticket and asking for a fix (or a refund if you don't want to wait for that fix and if you're still in the 30 days refund window).

Another possibility: you're using Turbo Loader and forget to let it load these morphs, which I think would cause this kind of behaviour (but it's been a while since I have used Turbo Loader so I could be mistaken).
