Any hints on when the .05 version will go live / be approved? Has been in the queue for over a month.
No date from me, only from Daz, I'm afraid. The update left my hands on Monday: uploaded to the store queue, tested and vetted on my side, with the virtual-folder heal and the drag-and-drop and many other improvements in it. Daz approves updates on their own schedule and doesn't tell me when until it's done. As soon as it goes live I'll post here, and it will show up in DIM as an update. Thanks for hanging in; the program is ready, the queue is the wait.

Sorry, just to clairfy, I'm referring to the version 1.05 update that was submitted a month ago.
Presumably each new update you submit gets added as a new item to DAZ's queue without disrupting / deleting versions that have already been there awhile waiting for approval. Is that correct?

Yes Mosk,
Good question, and the answer is that there's only ever one update waiting per product, not a stack. Version 1.0.5 was submitted a month ago and sat in the queue. While it sat, I kept working: the virtual-folder heal, drag and drop, and a long list of smaller fixes. On Monday Daz reopened the page for me and I replaced the waiting file with the current build, so the update in the queue now is 1.0.5 plus everything since. Nothing was lost, and nothing older is still ahead of it.
As for the wait: EZFinder isn't an average Daz product (near 130,000 lines of code). It's a full application rather than a content pack, so it gets a closer look from QA than a hair set does, and I understand that. The build that's in there now is tested, vetted and staying put. I'll keep pushing for its release and I'll post here the moment it's approved. It's on the way.
Love this product! I have two product update requests I hope aren't TOO difficult and you might consider for a future release:
(1) Link to the store page for a given item. I realize I could copy/paste the product name (which IS available in the 'Links' area) and paste that into a browser, but a direct URL link would be great
(2) Adding '.dsf' as an additional 'Compartment' during the scan. Some products are primarily composed of 'dsf' files (vice 'duf'); it would be nice to be able to find/add them to a list
Tks,
Ray

Thanks for the love on the Finder, Ray!
Taking your second request first, because it is already done: .dsf gets its own compartment in the next update. They come through without thumbnails, but the names are all there, you can right click to open the source folder, and drag and drop is new in that build too - so you can drop files straight from EZFinder into your open Daz Studio.
The store page link is a gem of a request. After you raised it I looked into it and it seems quite workable. It will go into the update after the current one, which Daz is testing now.
Thanks for taking the time to write these requests up. Lots of features to come soon!
