Checkbox "Delete Package after Installation" Missing

Dear DAZ3D gurus,

In the DAZ Install Manager (DIM), the ‘Package Archive’ is set to a specific folder on my computer that I selected myself. I was a bit surprised when I clicked on it in the ‘DIM Basic Settings’ and found the folder was empty. I then installed a few packages to see if the folder was still empty after installation. Yes, it was. But perhaps I’m misunderstanding something.

a) I assume that the ‘Package Archive’ is the location for the ZIP files of the installed packages. Perhaps that’s my first mistake.

b) I’ve done a bit of research and found out that there’s a check box in DIM called ‘Delete Package after Installation’ which, when ticked, deletes the ZIP file. That would explain why the ‘Package Archive’ folder remains empty. Perhaps that’s my second mistake. But what confuses me even more is that I can’t find this check box.

I’d be very grateful for any advice.

The check box is at the bottom left of the middle tab, where your downloaded files are ready for installation. Just to the right of the start queue button.
