posing controls gone "wonky"

...not sure what happened or is going on but al of a sudden something seems to have gone wrong with the posing controls on one of my characters,
For example when I attempt to bend the right forearm it begins to twist affecting the hand also changing the parameters of the hand as well I've pose this character many times an never had this happen until the other night,
I checked the parameters settings for both forearms and they are the same so nothing there is indicates anything wrong, Its as if somehow the pose controls between the forearm and hand became linked as can be seed by the right forearm parameters along with the hand making it bend unnaturally.
I also have noticed an other issue when using the Neck Pose sliders under the Actor/Poses that even dialling neck twist to 100% the head turns only to a three quarter rather than a full profile. It seems some sort of background setting I am not aware of is causing this.

I tired troubleshooting but to no avail.
I have no idea of how to fix this outside of uninstalling the programme and then reinstalling a fresh version from my backups, which is something I would not rather do as I'd have to reconfigure my workspace from scratch.

Do you have any translations pinned?
...nope. It seems to have something to do with IK.
Also the default "0" position of the slider for the left forearm is left of the centre point on the slider i nthe default "A" pose. Moving it to the centre bends the arm to a setting of -54. I have no idea how that happened as I don't mess with those settings.
Using the "Neck" sliders under "Actor/Pose Controls" apparently only seems to affect the head not the lower and upper neck.
No point uninstalling DS as the software isn't the problem, it's the content you are using in it that has the problems.
Have you recently installed any characters/morphs/poses/expressions for that figure, as those are far more likely to brick your character.
Do you get any error pop-ups when you load the character?
It sounds to me like you have duplicate files messing with controls - two control properties with the same name.
If an error pops up, see if the log shows the file locations. One will be the Daz 3D (official) control, the other with be the culprit.
Just an educated hunch
That, or maybe the settings of the parameter(s) was edited - like, different than default Max/Min values, sensitivity of the dial, etc.,
