Saving 4.24.0.3 Installer Files to Another Computer

edited September 15 in Daz Studio Discussion

I am looking to move Daz Studio 4.24.0.3 Public Build files to another newer computer. I had originally installed the Public Build and then installed the Production 4.24.0.4 build after.  When looking in the downloads directory, I see the following files.  Can I install 4.24.0.3 using these files? It looks like the 4.24.0.4 install overwrote the public build files. Does that look correct?

Thanks

The Public Build (BETA) and the Production release of Daz Studio 4.x have different Product IDs, and their DIM installation ZIP files are named differently (the BETA ZIP file includes "PublicBuild" in its name). Because of this, the 4.24.0.4 Production installer ZIP shouldn't have overwritten your 4.24.0.3 Public Build installer ZIP.

Unfortunately, it seems that the installation ZIP for the Daz Studio 4.24 Public Build (e.g., IM00012000-02_DAZStudio424PublicBuildWin64bit.zip) is indeed missing from the list you provided.

I strongly recommend backing up your current 4.24.0.3 installation folder right now. If you refer to DoctorJellybean's post in the thread below, you can use that 4.24.0.3 backup to restore the features that were removed in 4.24.0.4.
