    I celebrated spring by deleting Google Maps from my iPad because Apple Maps which I use anyway is more accurate in Geographical Nomenclature cheeky

    I'm not sure how things display down under, but in Canada the naming is still correct. It might only display incorrectly for certain countries.

    I still want fries, but I've never had potato scallops/cakes/fritters and need to find somewhere local who has 'em on the menu.

    Mum did home made snitty with home made hot chips the other night... with chicken salt and sour cream mixed with sweet chilly sauce. yes

    I had chicken kievs from Woolies (cooked in my new Aldi airfryer), with sliced baby cucumber, tomato, baby cos lettuce and Aldi mixed slaw, with the Aldi Colemans French dressing which not only tastes like the discontinued Kraft one but is cheap at 1.99 a bottle.

    while I like homemade crumb. one person living alone, I don't even buy eggs because I rarely eat one let alone 6, so making the batter not really practical and by the time I buy meat, prefer pork or veal, honestly the readymade chicken ones is much the same price, I like the kievs as can get several other varieties besides the garlic sauce filling too and they freeze and cook well from frozen too.

    The first one was pretty funny, had an unexpected surreal quality to it. The second one was athletic and quite enjoyable. Thanks for sharing it.

    Gloop n Gleep and also Zok ( Zok was cubed in 2022 a few years ago now! ) smiley

    Gloop is morphed and Gleep is just Gloop duplicated and scaled down...  wink

    Fantastic, they look great! I love the rendering style.

    Now I have to dig out my videos and watch them (we didn't get the show here when I was young, but I picked up the DVDs a few years ago but just haven't watched them yet).

    oh, I was unaware of this series 

    just Googled it

    my childhood cartoon viewing options were the poorer for not knowing surprise

    We did get Space Ghost and Dino Boy, Birdman and the Galaxy Trio, Moby Dick and The Mighty Mightor and Frankenstien Junior and The Impossibles, Shazan, and Samson and Goliath. Just not The Herculoids, which I always found odd.

    I think it did show up in reruns years later, but it wasn't availble in Winnipeg when all the others were. I suspect it's absence was aimed at me personally...

    "Broken Wire Syndrome" – it's not just a Gumby and Pokey condition, Major Matt Mason (not to mention fellow astronauts Sgt. Storm, Doug Davis, Lt. Jeff Long and the alien friend Callisto) suffered badly too, at a – sadly – much higher price point.

    Thank you for your service in bring joy to children. Rest in peace, you noble, broken toys...
