To me she's not "Skinny" or "White" enough. Her face has a cool vibe to it (and I do like that about her), but for me she's a non-starter since her skin is far too tanned to be useful to me on other characters. It's easy to make light skin tanned, but it just doesn't work the other way around, so I'm currently avoiding tanned characters.
I think she looks good, but this body type has been re-done a thousand times. For me she's not skinny enough. I'm always on the lookout for skinny characters so that I can blend some bone and definition into custom characters. Sadly, it's extremely rare for vendors to produce a convincing "Skinny White Girl" with good anatomy.
Personally I'd love to see a good quality "Skinny White Girl" character, one with anatomy and skin colour actually worthy of the description :-D
Is it me, or does she look like V9's 24th sister, and that she's simulating a bit of extra attitude to look slightly different while being a nice person, really?
I don't dislike, but not inspired. I do hope others are, as there's a mountain of work to create a character & it'd be a shame if inspiration didn't strike someone.

The figure itself isn’t bad, though it doesn’t blow me away. It’s very reminiscent of certain G8 figures (or was that G9 already?). Well, yes, and once again: white, female, young… But at least not too young. The bundles are quite nice, although these themes have been done in at least a thousand different variations by now. Let’s see what I can use these for; they’re probably well made, after all. I like the crazy outfit from the Character Bundle!

Yes, exactly – Beautyworks may well have taken inspiration from Iris van Herpen’s style. A brilliant source of inspiration; I’m a big fan of that fashion designer.
Hmm. The Iris Van Herpen designs are definitely different. It looks like few of the features I consider essential for my clothes have been given much consideration (durability, protection, comfort, ease of putting on, usability, washing, cost effectiveness). So, I'm not a target customer, and I'm happy for that to continue. However for those who have very different requirements (such as out-peacocking a peacock or drawing a crowd in the jaded and limited environs of a fashion show) will find them exceedingly effective and just the tool for the job. I just hope I never get in a situation where I'd need to wear one of Iris Van Herpen's clothes, as I doubt we'd be a good mix.

Perhaps the term ‘fashion designer’ is a misnomer. I don’t regard the designs of artists such as van Herpen as garments in the conventional sense; rather, as wearable sculptures or something similar. That’s why it wouldn’t occur to me to apply the same standards to them as I would to normal clothing.
i wouldn't necessarily consider it a misnomer. there's just a difference between ready to wear designs and haute couture, and iris van herpen does a lot of the latter.
the neobloom outfit reminds me of some of eiko ishioka's costume work, too. definitely feels like a outfit you'd see in a scifi film.
In a silo she's fine. The hair works well for her. She looks late 20sish. I don't have much use for cyberpunk but I definitely have use for the office variant of the XI Simple Room as kind of an underground office room carved into a cliff that I can kitbash. As a premier member, $5.99 for each is a good deal.
Aileen doesn't come with a 'human ear' option but she's already available - a lot of times premier characters are released days after they're supposed to be so that's nice she was immediately available. I don't have a use for elf ears but either you can remove the Aileen head slider or go full Kes ST:Voyager Season 3 and just use a bushy hair style to hide them.
But can we *please* get some diversity with these releases? A white woman with a cyberpunk add-on is exceedingly common. The Daz store's not exactly lacking in white women. My project requires a lot of diverse characters, and there's so many parts of the world that has zero representation.
My first reaction was the old question "Honey, does this make my butt look fat(ter)?" Where you are damned no matter what you answer. I didn't download it.
If you are curious, DA Mira has a robotic/doll-style body under that suit.
My first thought on looking at bundle contents: Who needs to buy a basic room/props, especially in a bundle? 1 or 2 months of Daz+ tier, and you will get multiple big boxy rooms and almost as many assorted props at no extra cost.
$12.96 if you're a Premiere member. She's attractive enough, but while most of the items in her bundles are nice looking, the only things that really cry out for me to buy are the two hair items... Still, at $5.99 for each bundle and one hair in each, that's enough for her to go in the cart along with a couple of the Dave Yabbo characters. What WON'T be going in, however, are the add-on texture packs.
I'm on the fence. I like the character herself, and that her features feel more tomboyish than sexy. But the rest of the character bundle is useless for me (I can't decide which one I find less appealing: the hair or the outfit, HD is neither here nor there, and the experssions are meh). The add-on bundle is much more appealing: the hair looks nice, and I've grown to enjoy Pricenss PA's outfits (so many thumbs up for those flat heel boots!), and I have a soft spot for daveyabbo's creations. But Lindsay's outfit is their usual too-oversexed-too-bother, and the room is kind of a joke: I can't even figure out what it's supposed to be. It feels like some random spliced together from random ideas. At least, I suppose, zero props could be of some use maybe?
So all that has me leaning "no," but at the same time, the price is attractive. $17.30 (with tax) for all the things I would get... It's not too bad. The question is whether I could get those specific products cheaper at some point in the future as none compells me to get them at the moment.

Princess PA and Lindy brought me along to the $16 show, even though I'm trying not to spend
for the price its hard not to just toss both into the cart. I have most of daveyabbo's creations. I like them a lot, so the price of both bundles at $16 for me, is worth it without even thinking about. The rest are extras
. The textures on Aelia are pretty nice looking as well. And the hairs are good. Yeah. in the cart.
A bunch of stuff I'll never use in the bundles. OTOH, the character and HD alone are worth the $11.98. So I am probably getting this.
i think in this case, considering the price point, if there is even one item in the 2 bundles that you can use, its pretty much a wash with the rest extras ... and who knows, something might tweak your imagination and viola, you use one of the hairs, whatever.
I read all these comments, with people saying "I don't do those kind of renders so it's useless to me", and I'm jealous. I can't say that, I do superhero/comic book renders, primarily for ttrpgs, and EVERYTHING is in the genre. One day I'm doing Red Sona and Conan the next Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Treck. *sigh* Into the cart she goes.

so the August DO coupon gets an invalid buying this bundle deal is it because powers that be think it enough discount or just popped into my head is the deal making it a DAZ+ product there for invalid for the coupon till after this promo when it gets changed back to a normal non Daz+ product?

just noticed that with tokens too I'll look at the Artists stores options see if there is anything there can want to add and can use coupon/tokens on though there is two versions one with 3 of the artists to choose from if you click their store images or another if you hit the "view all items" brings up a ton of others which could be a glitch like another sale where the items shown were completly different to what was on offer

I think she's nice and her face has a nice pixyish vibe to her.
I wouldn't be surprised to learn that there's some actress or model that I'm unaware of that she closely resembles, as that's seemed to be the trend for so many of the recent G9 core figures. The main promotional image of the straight on close-up with the piercing in the forehead felt a lbitlike Jerri Ryan (7 of 9 from Star Trek), but the other promo images lack that actress' angularity, and while one or two brought up vague recollections of, say, a young Charlize Theron or Linda Evangelista, she is, really, fairly generic. There's one real clunker of a clothing item in the Neobloom outfit... that doesn't even look comfortable, let alone practical... while the other bundle items are hard to distinguish from dozens of other similar products in the store. Were it not for the bundle pricing, she would definitely not have gone into my cart, but at $5.99 the bundles break down to a little over a buck an item. Really, the thing that I wonder about is why DAZ led off with such a heavy discount, and why were there only three artists listed in the Featured Artist selection.
Do like her. Agree very much with the Tomboy comments and that she, and the bundles, aren't tremendously uniique (there's a G8 she very much reminds me of, but I'm not booting up to hunt the model-name)
With the flat-hair, in a couple of the promos, reminded me of Sean Young.
So, even though this month's budget is technically spent - as Daveso put, if you like Daveyabbo's kit then at less than $12 for a decent looking design, plus the rest as 'freebies' - even though you'd get half for free with a token (as Premier) - it's a pretty ridiculous bargain (94% and 93% discounted)
