Is there any documentation for this thing? What is the difference between Floor Slab HP 100, Floor Slab HP 200, Floor Slab LP 100, and Floor Slab LP 100? How many units is "12" vs "72"?

Based on the promo images, "HP" refers to High Poly and "LP" refers to Low Poly.  Studio's standard measurement is in centimeters, so "12" or "72" likely refers to 12 cm and 72 cm.

Sigh... a lack of decent instructions is not uncommon in the DAZ store.  There ARE some useful bits buried in the read-mes, though you may have to read several to find specific answers.

Some documentation for Shader Forge would be especially helpful.

I'd also have to find the readmes. And for someone trying to sell a big "system". The lack of documentation is off putting.

Hi and sorry, negative on any documentation but do try to put as much info in the promos that I can....but yes, I have certainly missed a few things that would have helped clarify assets.

    @jmucchiello
I should have put more wireframe renders in each group but most of the foundational info is found in this product, regarding UV layout and wireframes. ( Though I just found a small mistake on the High Poly Wireframe Floor promo - I have Floor LP instead of HP )
    https://www.daz3d.com/li-the-magic-rug--construction-bases-01

Confirming HP ( High Poly ) & LP ( Low Poly ) - though relative to each other.

Regarding asset name and size: example:

    LI TMR X - Wall LP 100 - 12x24  <   LP 100 = ( Low Poly 100mm ) / 1.2mtrs x 2.4mtrs - each asset loads with scale set to 1 rather than 100%

    LI TMR X - Wall HP 200 - 72x30 <   LP 100 = ( High Poly 300mm ) /  7.2mtrs x 3.0mtrs ( Screenshot attached )

The naming convention for the assets was the biggest struggle I had with this project and folder structure to keep things clean and more organized meant folders within folders and I hit the 250 character limit for the paths.
I went through renaming conventions at least 5 times to find something that worked...drove me nuts.

    If I could have the

The Door system ( Hinges ) which was the more complex part has video a tutorial embed in the asset structure plus a Step by Step Tip Thumbs.

Shader Forge is really just a huge library of textures and shaders...do you mean https://www.daz3d.com/li-the-magic-rug--retexturizer

Sorry, I've steered clear of forums and social media for a while now but I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

I've been using the construction parts of Magic Rug. I still haven't fully understood the doors. But one thing is very missing: the interior lock knob. The front has a keyhole and there a blank plate for the back. But how do you unlock the door from the inside? I also wish there were a left hand opening prefab.

(This is a real world lock showing the key front and knob back.)

I've kind of gotten use to everything being base-60 and understand that was probably picked because it has so many integer divisors.

Yes, the doors are certainly the most complex part...that being said it's also very versatile too....took a bit to work out the rigging system.

Regarding the Door Locks and Handles have you seen this expansion pack: https://www.daz3d.com/li-the-magic-rug--doors--hinges-expansion-01

    It also comes with:
LI TMR X - Hinges Door - Alpha Rig (L)
LI TMR X - Hinges Door - Alpha Rig (R)

As a cheat...you can just mirror the whole kit on the X axis - it will provided the same looking and working result you would like but textures will look black in preview.

ie: LI TMR X - Kit Doors - Wall 100 FP (Loaded) - scale this to X -1

"base-60 and understand that was probably picked because it has so many integer divisors" - 100%

The whole project took about 7 to 10 months...needless to say I have more planned but really needed a break from it....so if you have any ideas, please let me know.
The certain assets that still remain as a WIP.

Just an FYI, the Handles and locks are also rigged....ie: turn locks / latches or handles, push buttons

I didn't dive deep into the doors (or furniture/cabinetry). I did make a shelf. I have the listed expansion and there is the door lock knob (or thumb as it's called). I will need to dive into the elevator next. I did manage to navigate the "sign on door" and room numbers tricks.

I've used the scale = -100% for other things. Why didn't I think of it here?!?

If you are looking for ideas, I assume exteriors are next. Stuff like roofs, overhangs, drain pipes.

Studs only walls or drywall on only one side. For attics.

Interior soffits, air ducts, rigged windows (although, that's probably far more niche and just as hard to do as doors)
