I find Kristina 9 interesting, but perhaps not interesting enough to buy on the spur of the moment. Or is it? I’m still thinking about where she belongs right here and now – in the basket or on my wish list...
The mix with Angela 9 is actually brilliant. A Hollywood goddess of the 1930s... The bundles, on the other hand, don’t interest me at all. I’ve had far too many similar items for ages.
She's the winner of my July Premier character coupon! One of the few bundles I can use everything that's included. I'll probably add the athletic shape as well.
Thanks for the heads-up. I get so tired of the "cutouts make it sexier, or something" school of 3D clothing design, especially applied to items where it doesn't make sense, like cold weather gear, space outfits, etc.
Here are some tests/comparisons with the Athletic Body Shapes for Kristina 9...
Note: The presets/parameter dials for the athlete shape DO trigger Kristina 9 shape morphs, so you have to dial out the Kristina 9 morphs manually.
Obviously you can dial back the head seperately, but the morphs seem to blend well to give bulk to the upper arms/shoulders, narrower hips and a fine six-pack. I'd personally use them at 60-80%.
A couple more with a full-bodied character and a male character. I chose Charlie because he's thinner and can see the bulk difference better, probably wouldn't be necessary with characters like Thomas, Calum or Axel. It doesn't quite work well around the pectorals for males (since it was built for female chests). But if he had an undershirt on, it could work.
Not buying her right now. She looks okay, but nothing I can't duplicate on my own with my existing morphs. The add-ons in her bundles are okay as well, but, again, absolutely nothing that isn't extremely close to items I already have... much of which I picked up in previous core bundles.
The release was on Friday; so, the usual 1-2 business days?
I hope the lack of engagement with this thread is due to many people hiding my posts rather than lack of interest in Kristina.
The last several premiere figures were available in moments after buying. But the really odd thing I noticed this time was that the freebie Beachball was in the SmartContent/Available tab instead.
It makes me wonder if someone glitched the entry when they were supposed to be putting Khloe in there.
I like her, but because of high heat in Denver for the past week and this coming week, I have been turning off power to my computers by 9am or 10am in the morning. That barely allows me time to look at new items, make a selection, purchase, download, ... and a few posts. And fit in other stuff I need to do around the house, like giving the Ginger cats love. We hit 104F here yesterday and it was 84F when I woke up this morning at 02:30am.
My brain is a bit worn out. There is very little left over for creativity.

And the really sucky part is that it's likely to only get worse in the future as more of these massive data megacenters are built, further stressing the grid past capacity. I understand that there's a temporary one freeze on new ones in Denver right now, but the proposed one by Core Site alone will be devastating in terms of both wattage and water consumption. Seems like Skynet has found a different way to take us down...

I have been watching the data center issue for months. I think the higher electric bills and lack of water for even basic uses may stall them. The desert southwest was dry before they were even dreamed of. There are five states and the Feds fighting over water usage of the Colorado River which is drying out.

I like her! Great work by the extremely talented @maelwenn!! Has a very Latina feel.
The athletic add-on shape is really nice and will definitely be nice to mix with other body shapes.
I've update the List of G9 Core Figures to include her.

I will point out that the images for https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-vaelyn-ranger-for-genesis-9 make it look as if the cutouts at the waist are part of the base shape, but the later images for https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-vaelyn-ranger-texture-add-on show that there is mesh theer if desired (and it has low heels).

Kristina looks good, and seems to mix well.
I quite like the outfits in the add-on bundle but don't really have a use for them.

Wow, thanks for these renders showing the Kristina 9 Athletic Shape! I see that it's going to be very useful in combination with other body shapes.

So... uh... when is Khloe ever suppose to show up in our accounts?

I like her, think she's got a good mixture. But I think I might like Khloe for Kristina even better.
Well, she's finally showed up in my SmartContent/Available tab.

A bit slow to this, but some not-very-artistic renders of Kristina (and MW Claire who was $2)
Very nice! Thank you! I was hoping you'd post.
No worries. The test renders of Kristina is might be my last from Studio 4.24. I've got Bastian loaded up in 6 right now.
