My characters look like aliens

Hi,

So my new characters I've bought in the past week all load with shrunken heads and large bodies, older ones load fine,

is this a measure metrics thing 'cause I'm still using 4.24?

Thanks

It is very unlikely to be due to the DS version used. Is this affecting the base figure? How were the ones that still look right saved?

It seems to be off and on, old figures sometimes load good, other times not, only affects characters - everything else looks normal.

Genesis 9 base loads as a female, 8 male loads good.

You have a figure that is auto applying, I think. Go to the parameters and see what is active

Yes, that did the trick, thank you so much, how did this happen and what can I do to prevent it?

Most likely something you have added recently was saved with a non-zero value for one or more morphs. If it was a character morph that needed zeroing that probably tells you the culprit.

That is the strange part, the offending character was one I had just bought and downloaded but done nothing else with, so how it got into my Parametrs tab  is a mystery.

If a morph is saved with a non-zero value it will auto-apply, you don't need to do anything. Sometimes properties need to start with a non-zero value (e.g. if they are going to have something else subtracted from them to make an inverter) but general character shapes should not be saved like that. It is most likely a product bug and should be reported to Daz (for content purchased here) or the artist.

Ok thank you, I'll do that.
