I was wondering about that, too. Also, why do the Quick Grabs not change? And what's with the freebies? If the store is being changed around so much it would be common courtesy to drop a blog post at least, methinks ...

The Outlet New Releases thing only appears on today's sale page. It's just a couple of new items at no special discount, so whatever. Maybe the QG and freebies are thrown off by the Christmas in July promo. Re: store changes: Daz tells us nothing! We're mushrooms.

My guess is that they're some kind of an equivalent of RawArt's "Raw Deals" less complex products offered at a cheaper base price, and just someone in Daz marketing didn't think that we already have a feature using the word "outlet."

Unless, both QG and OS are going away with the end of the month (the lack of QG update and no official communication from Daz via mods about it makes me wonder about) so there won't be any naming clash, and someone on Daz team jumped the gun a few days ahead of time with the new releases. Seeing as Daz never announces retiring features (like Lightning Deals or Grab Bags), introducing new features (like OS/QG), or changes to features (like expanding tokens' duration), I wouldn't put it past them to give us such an unwelcome surprise again. I guess we will see soon enough.

well, with all the changes, the not so good DAZ+ releases anymore, YMMV, of course, and if QG is gone, doesn't leave this old timer much choice but end my shopping here. Its just too uncertain anymore. One would think a store like this would have it together, but its not. How long have things not worked correctly. I'm frnakly tired of it, probably more than you guys are tired of me bitching about it. To finish, the Quick Grab has been the only thing exciting me for the last few months, anf it thats gone, whats left? I haven't been excited about a product release since Ultrascenery. Not even the release of DS 6 did anything for me and I still haven't upgraded.

Well, now that the price has changed, I figured it's time to point out that the Driftwood rowboat and the Driftwood Shelter are actually the Optional Boat and Optional Kiosk add-ons that were shown in the promos for Driftwood Pier that came out last month from the same PA.  That said, I have to say that the rowboat doesn't seem to be a particularly useful item on it's own, given that it doesn't include a set of oars or even oar-locks, though it does have a spot for an outboard motor to be attached.  It does make one wonder why the name was changed to rowboat when the original "boat" was more accurate.  Also, oddly, given that it was advertised as an option for the pier set, the attached bow line doesn't actually moor to the dock at all, so as anyone who's ever had to get into a rowboat from a dock will tell you, this would making  getting into it from the dock a potentially rather dangerous affair.

I had a laugh at the missing oars for a rowboat, too. Hmm. How will anyone "row"?  It must be a "drift out to sea" boat. At that point, I just moved on and didn't didn't as deep into problems as you did.
