With all the new tools in today's 'Tons of Tools' sale how can I tell which ones will work in DS4 and which require DS6?

No apparent statements on the ones I've looked at. ETA: Sorry I stand corrected https://www.daz3d.com/c66-figure-splitter does say explicitly that it works in both.

Given that DS6 is the 'Current' version, I'd expect all tools to work on that, and if they're not plugins, possibly on DS4.

It is, though, completely unacceptable that it's not stated explicitly in a believable position.

    Regards,

    Richard

Yeah, I just went to the Commercial Forum to see if there was any information on that and only Code66 had posted about his product.

I also know that @bluejuante's scripts in the past do not work on Macs. I would also like to know if the others also have the same limitation. Code66 is safe on that at least.

I have wishlisted five items but put none in the cart pending information on which versions of DAZ and OS they will work with.

bluejaunte is selling plugins which have to be compiled for MacOS to work on a Mac, a compilation that can, from what bluejaunte said, only be done on a Mac.

Given the SDK is still beta that expectation is premature. Totally understandable. But Daz isn't a team of 100 people with a documentation department churning out tested specs in a timely manner.

We can't even get explicit statements about strand-based vs mesh-based hair. If it were explicitly stated, that would be the unexpected case. I mean, they just did an update and removed all the application data (poser vs bryce vs DS4 vs DS6 etc.)
