I've purchased this item
https://www.daz3d.com/varg-8-for-daz-dog-8
But everytime i try to render it, the render come out empty. I've tryed to render it without his DForce hair, same result.
I've used DAZ 4.24 and my NVidia is a RTC 4050, i've renderized all the dog with fur that i've purchase (German Shepperd, Husky, Dire Wolf from AM), and no one give me this trouble.
I wouldn't give it back, so if someone can hel me, i will be really gratefull.

Weird... but have you checked in Parameters pane, with the Varg selected, is the property Visible in Render turned on ?
sorry to derail your post but thanks for linking this, as cheap in Outlet
I just bought Dog8 animations cheap too
Ah, I know why your render failed... 4050 only has 6GB VRAM, most likely it ran out of VRAM... because SBH usually consumes more VRAM.
I checked and tested a render with this Varg, it consumes appr. 5.3GB VRAM, plus Iray engine's consumption 2.4GB, just a scene with it consumes at least 7.7GB VRAM.
Render Line Tessellation Sides on its fur is set to 3 which is pretty high, I could only suggest you lower it to 2 or 1, see if it works.
Before each test of render, you can: go to Render Settings > Hardware tab, uncheck then check your 4050 card in devices list, this action can fully release consumed VRAM. Also install GPU-Z to monitor VRAM usage while testing.
Thank you for this simple and useful tip. I successfully rendered an OSO FOX (DOG8) scene with its environment for the first time. I'm so happy!
RTX 4050? Are you sure about that? That model was never released. The only alternative is the RTX 4050M which is a laptop card.
Oh sorry, is a RTX 4050M because i've laptop
Coolest has worked. Thank you very much.
Happy to hear you made it ~ No problem !
Nice ! No problem !
@AsuCafe just for curiosity, what is the Oso Fox?
This: https://docs.daz3d.com/public/read_me/index/80000_80999/80287/start which used to be available for sale in this store ~~
Probably DAZ has removed it, isn't more available.
Oso Fox was removed when all of Oso's store was removed.
Ah, right, I don't know why I was confusing Oso with Oskarson.
A question from a strand hair novice. Is it possible to reduce the line tessellation of a strand based hair and save that?
Edit: went ahead and tried and yes it does.
If you use the omnihair shader, it is build for tesselation at 0.
