how do you get the background to show in Reality 4?

Simple Q really: I have only been using Reality 4 for about 2 days and whenever I render a scene with it in Daz the background is always black no matter what background I have there. I assume this is some sort of default thing as I have not played around with many settings. Is there simple way to remove the blackness so it can show whatever background you have loaded up? thankyou.

It's an unbiased renderer so I doubt it employs any of the biased techniques DS uses like backgrounds in the scene. I think the only option is to load a plane and apply the backgroud image to it or use an IBL or HDRI file

Luxrender, by default will render a hdr used for lighting as a 'backdrop'.  It can also render an environment map as one, too...so I think Reality has the 'premultiply alpha' turned ON...which means it won't do that.
