Vineyard Kit - Grape Vines and Supports - in store now!

the Vinyard Kit is now in store, as set of red and white (green) grapes on the vine, foliage only and fruiting in both summer and automnial shads along with support posts and wires. 

Just set up your support wires (or don't—you can grow the grapes against a wall or fence or even as standalones in some cases) and then add your vines (hedgemaker sets are included if you want to add vines and undergrowth to your scenes en masse).

    There are a lot of vineyards in the U.S. as well  My son has some on his property in Wisconsin.

    My daughter lives in Madison and I have friends in Milwaukee. From what they tell me, I didn't think it would ever be warm enough to grow grapes laugh

    California and Texas both have extensive vineyards. There are even grapes native to the US :D

    Just as well after philoxera (hhm going to check spelling on that - ah, phylloxera).

    Though I am not sure about "lazy summer days" from the vigneron's perspective.

    well, its 92 feels like 106 right now laugh  I live in Madison as well. Its the tropics. It gets pretty warmin the summer months, usually from end of March to October or so. There are several vineyards around the area.

    The weald of Kent has quite a few vinyards. As the climate has warmed the optimum climate for Champagne production is no longer in the Champagne region, instead it's a bit north of the middle of the channel. However, due to restrictive geographical naming, it can only be called 'Sparkling Wine' when out of the Champagne area. It has been suggested that some English wines are as good or better.
