dForce problem

I just tried to simulate this outfit: https://www.daz3d.com/kuj-dforce-spring-pastoral-casual-set-for-genesis-9
I used the default simulation settings. The skirt slid down the character's legs. What did I do wrong?

It is rather stretchy - the length varies as the hem bounces up and down duriing the simulation - but for me both the full outfit and the skiirt loaded separately work on a default Genesis 9.
OK, it works for me on a plain G9. I was using it on Cate 9 HD (unmodified). Anyway, I deleted the skirt from my scene and reloaded it, and it worked, so IDK what was going on. All I was getting was a puddle. Thanks for the assistance.
Very odd, as even the skirt on its own hangs by the waistband. Might you have reapplied the dForce modifier at some point? That would override the settings., and does cause the skirt to drop for me (but it should still catch on the figure or other scene elements)
No, I don't think so. I just loaded the full outfit, changed the texture, and simulated with the default settings, and I used a pose from a pose pack. I even closed and reloaded the scene, and it was stil doing it. But it's fine now that I deleted the skirt and reloaded it. The other scene elements were just a few props to make a basic background and floor.
Ah, a product issue - the Material Preset 9at least the default for the skirt) overrides the dForce surface settings - it still hung from the waistband for me, but it did just collapse into a tube ignoring the Genesis 9 mesh. I don't hafe the add-on materials to see what they do. Please report this as a (possible) bug.
OK, I was using the add-on pack, so I guess that's it. I will report the bug.
Thanks. In the meantime you can just resave the presets, at least any you want to use, and in the options dialogue deselect the dForce settings for each surface (theya re grouped so you just need to deselect that to get them all).
