SVM's Mech Saviour Type Knight for Genesis 9 | Daz 3D

This is amazing.  I've wanted this kind of stuff for a long time.  I usually don't buy products when they first come out, but I had to buy this.  I really hope it sells well and that there are assessory packs to come.  Different heads, jet packs, wings, weapons etc.

    tkdrobert,

Nice! I hadn't seen the product until I came across this post of yours. I like the SVM's promo images -- it even has a kaiju battle! If only the backdrop was metropolitan Tokyo, then the scenes would've harkened to the classic robot anime of the 70s.

Personally I think SVM's Savior Type Knight draws closer to the Gundam universe. There's something about those robots from the 70s; unlike SVM's mech, their hulls were often rounded and streamlined. More likely than not, it was the angular silhouette of the Rx-78-2 mobile suit mecha that inspired this Saviour Type Knight.

Hope to see more of this genre.

    Cheers!

I must admit that I ignored it when it was first released because it wasn't cool enough. I only came in after seeing the post, and it turned out to be the work of my favorite artist. It even has a cockpit, which is a major feature and should be featured in the main promotional image. If it has add-ons with interchangeable designs, and if cooler heads, armor, and various accessories are released in the future, I will definitely buy it. There is a serious lack of this type of product here.

The Daz store has a lot of western style mecha and not a lot like this.  I plan to maximize this model as much as possible, so stay tuned.

Yes, definitely inspired by Gundam.  I hope to see more like this especially if the live action Gundam movie does well.
