    New line-up:

    http://www.daz3d.com/sickleyield

    http://www.daz3d.com/nikisatez

    http://www.daz3d.com/outoftouch

    http://www.daz3d.com/predatron

Also, not to sound ungrateful, but I agree that a series of flash sales at lower-than-usual discount from some of the most habitually discounted PAs does not a stellar promotion make.

    Edit: Ninjaed. By that much.

If only Daz had proper alerts - we wouldn't have to update date this three times with the same thing.

A man can dream... Actually, that's what I'll probably be doing by the last round of sales.

The daily newsletter takes hours to send out. If they sent out e-mails about these sales, the sale would be over by the time some of us even get the mail.

Although I DO have an actual e-mail alert for my own personal use. But that's being sent from my servers with a lot less traffic, not from DAZ. I could turn that into a more open alert, if someone needs it. But then again, there's alert from THIS thread, so it wouldn't be of much use. :)

That's the thing; I have a personal notification for this also, but I use my free Sendgrid account.  I think Sendgrid could handle the volume and get the messages to folks quickly enough (looks like DAZ uses their own notifications for transactional emails; speaking as someone who implemented the transactional and campaign email system for Friendster, I can say that using your own hand-rolled one is a mistake ;) ), BUT if they have 5 'flash sales' sets in a day, that's a lot of email volume to push through, and for folks who don't VERY explicitly want it, it could become an issue.  Getting marked-as-spam is a rough place for legit business to be in.

The simple answer to that is to make it opt-in instead of opt-out for more than once a day type emails.

I'm kind of bummed that I spent extra money on a larger gift card for myself and then nothing really eventuated. These PAs are all fantastic but this just isn't a particularly interesting or compelling sale. After all of the more complicated daily sales over the past week this feels really bland.

It's kinda sad so few PAs are involved in the Black Friday sale, Guess it's good for my wallet though as i just spent a bunch at the RDNA sale, LOL.

Maybe there will be others rotating tomorrow, and still others rotating on Sunday...? Only DAZ knows.

Ooh, now we've upgraded to MEGA rotating PA catalogues for 55% off ... Starting with artists beginning with A, B, or C?

So basically it's the same as yesterday's but now completely impossible to nagivate.

    LOL...

    Some ways to find "stuff":

    • Check your Wishlist for any items on sale
    • Filter by Artist, selecting Daz Originals (If you're a PC+ member)
    • From the front page, click on Vendor in the sub-menu. Right click on each Vendor's name and open in a new tab. (But not all of them at once.)
    • Begin with page one, and spend the next 8-12 hours viewing up to 32 pages. (That's all the products at 60 per page.)

Okay... You're right, lx. "Impossible to navigate" sums it up pretty good.
    laugh

No, no - you only get until the next rotation to view the 32 pages before they switch to a different 32 pages! Get to it!

At least they made the uninspiring sale into something really funny.

Feeling pretty nagivated myself at the mo.

Wow, best sale ever! Well, sort of. :) When was the last day, that you could get ALL PA's products at 55% off in one day?

If you're brave, you can see ahead, all the way until megapack-6, and plan what's coming in the next few hours. :)

I will be able to get everyrthing I currently need in one single day! Wohoooooo! :) Thank you, DAZ! :)

ahaha the next rotation is going to be 55 pages long. And since this first one lasts forever while America sleeps, the rest are going to go by much faster, too.

    In case you're curious:

    http://www.daz3d.com/mega-flash-sale-1 31 pages (A-C)

    http://www.daz3d.com/mega-flash-sale-2 55 pages (D-H)

    http://www.daz3d.com/mega-flash-sale-3 48 pages (I-M)

    http://www.daz3d.com/mega-flash-sale-4 32 pages (I see at least N-O-P)

    http://www.daz3d.com/mega-flash-sale-5 58 pages (S-T etc)

http://www.daz3d.com/mega-flash-sale-6 33 pages (Zs and symbols and things)

With just the wishlisted items, none of the sale pages are longer than 2 pages for me. And I have almost 700 items in my wishlist... :) (I need like 5 of this 700 now, LOL. The rest is... well, maybe if they're at 70% off... :))

Wishlist is your friend! Use it, so you can more easily navigate through fast-ending sales!

Oh, I can navigate to the things I know I want perfectly fine. It's still an absolutely brainless idea for the many less computer savvy shoppers or people that want to discover new items they might not have known about.

I agree on that. These 2-hour sales are definitely not for finding new stuff. There just isn't time for that.

Not much I want, and of the items that are, they are either still 'new' or rarely on sale. But I can wait; 'window' shopping (just like any other sort) I hate, but for 3D I'm cool, it's fun to look and wonder what I'd do with a new item I see.

Nothing in my wishlist is for sale, or they are too new.

It's killing me, because I've been meaning to get a few things and this would be the perfect time that they'd ACTUALLY go on sale ... and no budget. I should have skipped other stuff! AAARGH SALES
