Oddity with G8F eyes.

I have come across an oddity with some of my G8F characters, where they behave differently in the eye poses to other G8F characters. It affects the Side-Side eyeball slider.

On some of my G8F's, a positive Side-Side slider value makes them look to their left. On others, a positive side-side makes them look to their right.

I only have a single DS library, so there can't be an error with duplicate G8F data files. It has me confused.I save all my characters as scene subsets for ease of access, and they're saved with all hair, makeup, clothing and jewellery.

Does anyone have any idea what might be the issue, so I can start to work out the cause? And what way do your character's eyeballs move with a positive side-side slider value? It caused me a bit of confusion last night when I was doing a pose copy/mirror to a character, and after the mirror, the eyes on both characters were all looking the same way despite having opposite eyeball side-side poses in accordance with the mirroring requirement, and they weren't pointing at any object. Very odd.

Regards,

Richard

All mine move the same way. Slider to the left moves eyes to the character's left, right moves to the character's right. The opposite of what you see in the viewport.

And the opposite to my favourite character. This is odd. Regards, Richard.

On my side:  Eyes Side-Side > positive value, Eyes rotate to figure's right; Eyes Side-Side > negative value, Eyes rotate to figure's left. This is the default behavior. G3 ~ G9 have the same behaviors. G2 is different which has the opposite.

You may check if there's any other properties dialed... with Show Hidden Properties turned on. Check with the figure selected firstly, then with Left Eye / Right Eye selected.

Sounds like the rotation order of the bones has been messed with, use the joint editor to see if there's any changes to rotation.
