DAZ 6.0 updates to existing products - notifications ?

I've got a bunch of super useful scripts I use in v4.24, like Camera Magic and Look At Me II + III(that one already works in v6). Now that v6 of DAZ is out, I will assume that the scripting language is locked down apart from bug fixes and extensions.
Is the DIM Installer the only way to see if updates have happened ? Or will we perhaps get notification emails of updated products ? Or maybe something completely different ? (cue a Python joke)

Some updates will likely be announced in the forums for PAs who use it. Beside that, checking DIM for updates is the only way AFAIK.
Moved to Daz Studio discussion, though arguably Technical Support would have been better but it is a generalish question. The scripting forum is for writing scriupts, not for discussing existing scripts.
