G8F Expressions no longer working on G8.1F

I have a scene that I made a couple of years ago with a G8.1F character with a G8F expression on her face. I used the trick given in this thread to make that work, i.e. removing some placeholder expressions from a couple of directories.

In the intervening time the placeholders returned (I removed them again), and the G8F expression no longer works. What do I have to do now to get the content I've bought to work on the figure I've bought?

    The trick always works on my side though I had to remove the folders of dummy morphs after each time I reinstalled or updated G8 starter essentials.

    You can firstly check if there are dummy folders not removed from other Daz libraries that are defined in Content Directory Manager.

    Then clear DSON cache in F2 and try again.

    Yes, has DIM re-installed the dummy files for you as it installed DS6 for you? There was an update to the G8/8.1 essentials with DS6 as far as I can see. Regards, Richard
