Viewing content as a list is not working

THis is a return to a prevous post so it may need some intervention from whoever is responsibe for the forum.
I posted about this issue ages ago but depsite Richard commenting that he thought this had been sorted prior to my expriencing it it remains the same problem. Seemingly at random my view of content changes from the view as list, which is my preferred option to one of the other views. Not always but mostly when i log on having been in the view as list version, it switches and really all i want to do is set viewing my contents as a list as the default option. Its not been rectified not have I had any help regarding the issue since Richards comment way back when I forst raised the problem. It is really frustrating
Can anyone please help

This was raised in November 2025....
To attempt to clarify the issue here screen shots. The first show the view and as can be seen view as ist is selcted. The second show that in this selected view nothing is available. I can switch to view as side by side for instance and am able to select content but i find this difficult. if I select view as list sometimes it reverts to that, bit often i have to restart DS to get that option.
I might be missing something but in the second screenshot where nothing is showing are you not scrolled too far to the right?
If you look at the bottom of the window you can see that is the case. However when you scroll to the left it remains blank, cant show you a shot of that right now because the view has reverted to List as it does on occasions. When this happens again I will post a shot to show what I mean....
As promised here are screen shots of the problem with content view. Agai nthis happens at random, I closed down in List view and opened again some time later, still in screen view but unable to actually view the content in the screen view.
