Slow loading folders within the Content Library

So just for a couple days ago the folders within the Content Library started to load slow... meaning few seconds but still incredible annoying... other wise the models moves are fluid...
Example on the issue:
Going from one hair folder - loads 3 seconds/(been instant before) - and when selecting another folder - it loads too - and if I go back to the other folder I just looked at, then it's like it's fast like it was a couple days ago...

It's like shouldn't the folders load in at the start as Daz3D boots up?

I may have a big library but shouldn't think it was all the sudden just like this... I am sooooo close to remove Daz and install EVERYTHING again, but this time purge the stuff tht may be in the background that I haven't managed to uninstall/remove from earlier.

So if anyone got suggestions? and yes, I did update the NVIDIA to the newest but it was slow before that... I did think it was a driver that caused the slowness and it didn't work at all...

Caching all those folder lists and thumbnails would be very inefficient, using a lot of system resources for a tranche of data that will be laergely unused in any given session. If the speed has suddenly changed my first suspicion would be security software (perhaps it is scanning files it was ignoring before) or some kind of always on disc monitoring or management software.

I just got NordVPN just before I noticed, so I did suspect it might been that.
I'll try uninstall it and check.

I also might just purge my library... I do have alot of stuff I never ever use...

I'm thinking I may have to be doing exactly that. I have about 7k assets, half of which I'll probably never use. I may just move those to another folder for now.

I did find out that it WAS NordVPN that made things slow... AND made Red Dead Redemption 2 lag... so it's uninstalled... it's pretty stupid... but I am still thinking about purging my damn Daz just to make it clean...

Before when I deleted I never understood for custom content (stuff from other stores) that you would have to remove "Data/the folder in Content Library/Textures" to really remove them... but this time... it's everything... probably 1 or 2 terabytes
