Sales question

I've been gone for a while, but recently came back and when I was looking at the latest sales ad from DAZ for a collection of items, like the monster "Nothing else like these" at the bottom there is a list of all the PAs who have made something for that sale. You get 50% off their store, 60% with a new release but I've noticed the PA's catalog is limited, it used to be their entire store was listed except "New" items...Did Daz change that or am I seeing things? I did have the Hide items I have checked off, so that wasn't hiding half a PAs catalog. It was rather disappointing really, as I have in the past waited for a PA to showcase like that and then I bought from the sale because some don't have regular sales. Hopefully my question makes sense.

  • For quite some time, only a portion of a PA's back catalog is included in those sales, sometimes only a handful or even none. Others have posted that only 2024 or earlier releases are included.

Other recent changes to watch out for:

    1. "floor pricing," a minimum you will pay, even if stacking would get you a bigger discount. Fine print should say, "minimum $X.99" or similar Usually this happens if the items are divided by age, example Legacy/Classic/Recent, where newer categories have a higher minimum. Only Tokens will drop the prices below the floor.

    2. Promos where you get 1+ items for $Y.99. Often, some eligible items will show in the store as costing < $Y.99 but won't go lower, unless you buy them separately or remove/re-add to your Wishlist, depending on the exact sale terms.

    3. Some discount deals for items in your wishlist are great, like those that apply to New products. Others are tricky, because they work only on products that are both in your Wishlist and part of a very limited selection.

The 2024-12-31 cutoff date was talked about in January (2026). The cutoff date has not changed in the months since.
