Yes the resize is a very nice addition ot the interface, thank you.

I don't know why this tool is restricted to the Iray Uber shader. The FilaToon shaders have many (if not all) of the same controls that can be tiled with Instance Tiling. For me, it's not really the "Ultimate" Tiling Control, when it is limited to a single shader, especially now that FilaToon has become so popular. I'm using FilaToon more and more. It is disappointing that this tool won't work at all, when even a single surface uses a shader other than Iray Uber. I know the product page says it is for the Iray Uber shader, so it is all my fault for not really understanding what that limitation would mean to my workflow when I bought it.

Making it shader agnostic is something I wanted to do but I got to a point in development where I had sunk so much time into it that I had to decide either to completely sideline the project, carry on or release what I had.

Daz is currently my sole source of income so based on that and the fact that the vast majority of shaders in the store are Iray Uber based {and a large portion of the customer base can't even use filament) I decided to release but make it very clear what the restrictions were.

This latest round of changes has taken a significant amount of time out of my product development cycle - I'm not making excuses but just trying to be transparent, and it was necessary because having bugs in a product doesn't sit well with me.

Whilst there is a lot of value in the product as it is and I can't make any promises, I would like to revisit this at some point in the future but I really do need to move onto other projects for now, otherwise I'm not going to be able to pay my mortgage or put food on the table - that is the unfortunate reality given that my store is quite small atm.

    I hope you understand heart

    I understand the situation.

    Hello,

I don't think it's possible but I may have missed something: from what I saw, UTC global value is applied to the Horizontal and Vertical tiles, and these settings are applied to every map, including some for which it may not be the desired outcome (like opacity map, overlay).

Is there an option I have missed in UTC to chose on which maps I want to apply a specific value or do I have to apply that value to each map manually like I'm currently doing?

There's two version of the script - the basic one controls horizontal and vertical tiles together, but every mappable parameter has its own instance tiling slider. The global options just refer to the standard horizontal and vertical tiling sliders, so that option should not be used if any of the mappable parameters need to have unique tiling values. Hope that helps?
