Can Skin Color Changes Be Seen in Viewport or Only in Iray?

Hello everyone,

When using this asset, can you easily see the skin color changes directly in the viewport?
If not, is it only visible through Iray rendering?

This is very important to me, so I would really appreciate your input.

I'm not exactly sure it's what you want to know but once applied, you'll see that the skin looks different in Textures Mode (in Daz Studio 2024, I don't think the script works in DS 2026). The Trish wearing a green bikini is using her Iray materials, the one wearing a red one is the result after converting them to PBR-Skin:

Other tools don't have a visual impact but I think it's not a limitation of that product, just how textured mode react to change to various values like Gamma, roughness and translucency.

An element to keep in mind: some changes are applied at the map level and will be applied on both figures. As an example, if you're playing with the gamma, it'll be applied on the figure using Iray material too. As far as I know, it's how Daz Studio works, so nothing a script can change (maybe making duplicate of the maps?).

I dont think it should be very important what a preset that was made for Iray looks like while viewing in an OpenGL viewport drawstyle.  Texture mode is not really supposed to be a 1-to-1 of what it is going to look like in Iray, only an indicator.

If you intend to have your "final render" using OpenGL or Filament, it is probably better to just manually change the skin color settings on the Surfaces tab so you can dial in the effects you want.

Moved to Technical Help as it is a question about a product, not a Product Suggestion (would like to see/in search of type post).
