    Yeah, that'll likely be me, too. A full year won't make sense, but I'll target to when there's a sale that absorbs the price of membership and still gives a good bargain. I'll be curious to see how much QG and OS still do for me at that point, whether or not I've picked off the stuff they're offering that I'm interested in. Lately both have been a lot of stuff I already have.

    I'm okay with it, though. I'm grateful to have cleared out all of the "really want it" items from my WL at prices that worked for me, and now I'm just left with the "might be nice" stuff that... well, might be nice. But if it doesn't happen, also no big deal. I have so many fantastic toys to play with already that I could go the rest of my life on just what I've got and not run out of stuff I can do with it. 

    At this point I'm largely waiting for a solid age-down-to-infancy morph for G9, a good set of house cats, that Dirty Dishes expansion, and potentially any other new tools that solve pain points.

    Beyond that -- it's all about the render! I look forward to having the bandwidth to focus on getting better at the truly fun part. :)

    Oh, I'll definitely still hang out on the forums... you folk are too fun to walk away. I'll just have more art to share, and maybe someday I'll get competent enough to help out when people have questions or run into issues. :) Paying it forward is the name of the game. :)

    is MAD-FLASH good on anything? There is no exclusive products just for that coupon that I can see.

    Excludes Gift cards and memberships as well as outlet and quick grab: but it  works on new releases as well as non-new items.

    I thought that there was a WIP render thread? Am I misremembering or is it just a few dozen pages back? (I can find the All Time and Recent threads easily.)

    It doesn't say one only, and I'm guessing it's intended to compensate for the lack of stars (given this is a MM flashback). So I would think multi-use.

    For several months, there was the Still New idea. And usually you would get 40% off still new and a 10-30% bump if you also bought a new release. It made grabbing something recently new more palatable. When it takes 6 months (and longer) for items to reach the featured PA stores, that's a long time the items just never go on sale at all. 

    I guess DAZ made this change to encourage people to buy when something they want is first released, rather than waiting 60 days to pick it up at a far lower price. A lot of people are willing to wait 2 months for something, but having to wait over a year may persuade them to buy on release when there is at least some sort of discount.

    Well, I guess that might work with me if most of the Daz stuff I bought, I bought because it's exactly what I need, and therefore I'm willing to pay the introductory price for it. 

    Problem is, it's almost never the case that someone is selling exactly what I need. They're selling something sorta similar that I might be able to adapt, once I see how it's built. Or not. I've been buying speculatively, to acquire a large pool of items I might be able to recombine, repaint, remodel, etc.

    For that strategy to work, either the misses have to be cheap, or one's pockets have to be deeper than mine. It works not at all when the misses are expensive.

    I totally get that.  I usually buy specifically with kit-bashing in mind myself, as I hate the idea of someone looking at an image I've rendered and "oh that's the X outfit or character N from DAZ or Rendo, straight out of the box,"  or to look at part of a series and note that two characters a few renders apart are wearing the same pants with only a color change.  As a result, one of the things I've really noticed over the years is that as DAZ and its PAs have increasingly focused on sexy outfits over the years, it's been getting harder and harder to assemble "normal" clothing sets with each new generation, while the cost of similar items across generations has gone crazy in the last few years.  After 3 years, G9 still has an extremely weak selection of everyday clothing compared to G3 or G8, and if I was coming into this a a newbie I'd be pretty reticent to invest heavily at the current investment to reward ratio.

    ...not into paying for Premier. as the only advantage is double the tokens.  Not into plugins and content that goes away if I let it lapse or G9 character bundles.

    A sale on poses, meh, particularly as pose content often dominates the Artists Store category and I have enough pose sets as well as V3Digitimes' Ultimate Pose Master along with being fairly skilled in modifying poses.

    As to the Still New sale. the items I am iterested in are still too expensive even given the 30% off one's cart discount for D+ members and tokens..

    MAD-FLASH seems to be multi use. I used it to buy several new releases 10 minutes before Daz Midnight which are in the newly added MM26 Still New category (which would have saved me about $10, rip) and the cart allows me to apply it again today as well.

    ...well  last purchase for the month.  Got the item I wanted off the WL, Stonemason's Main Street, (which was in the expanded Still New selection) using the extra 30% off code and a few tokens.  A little more than usually spend (I try to keep piurcahses down to around 11 - 12 USD) but "payday" comes Wednesday and with the current policy for the Featured Artists category it would be another year (at least) before it likely shows up there.  Can't always count on Wishlist sales either, particularly as some have required a New Release buy-in.

    Finally got my hands on Tengu for Cyborg Generation 8! I've been wanting his Ronan preset to act as a very mysterious adversary, but the other two will certainly come in handy as well - like, I may use Tengu Zen as his brother, who is on the side of the protagonist, and Tengu as several other cyborgs that are teamed up with Tengu Ronan - we'll see.

    I'll echo this one! Been chasing a sale on all the cyborg releases for this set for a while, and all of them at terrific prices!  I think these are probably the best cyborg products on the market.

    There are over 1000 items on my wishlist. 43 are eligible for today's sale. None of them are worth $5.99 to, especially since they don't stack with tokens. Bah.

    And $18.99 + 30% off for Zara? Did these big eyed characters sell really reall?

    Ten possible WL items for me from that button... and two of them are lower than the price-with-buy-in just on their own.

    All of them are nice and all, but I've already passed on them for cheaper.

    Ah well. Another day to make progress on my catalog. :)

    ...just got the email;about the Wishlist Pick One sale, Clicked on the Shop Now button and nothing shows up.  I unchecked the "On ly Wishlisted " box and 25 pages (at 120 items per page) of content appears.. So, out of  2,872 items nothing is on my wishlist.

    Fascinating.

    WIll wait unitl I get up later to see if QuickGrab resets.

    Quick Grab empty again, most of my WL at full price, yet another *Not really a wishlist sale." Nothing for me today. Unless there's really some good QG items when that gets off the ground.
