DS 6 Beta suddenly crashing

DS 6 Beta suddenly started crashing today.  I have checked my system security and maintenance, and my hardware and OS seem fine.

    Stopped responding isn't necesarily the same as crashed. What was it doing, if anything, and if it was busy how long did you wait?

    I was going through the surface tab and adjusting settings, and the time-outs start randomly.

    OK, and they persist for a long enough time that you have to close the application? Or does it close itself after a while? What about the log file (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log file - scroll back from the end and see what is just before the latest Daz Studio Starting line.
