My lady wife had ketchup with everything when we first met. Took 10 years for her to be mostly cured of the habit. Fantastic observation of people's foibles. Regards, Richard.

    It's a disease.  And there's no cure.

I'm having a lot of fun animating Charlotte and Kurt using AI.  I used to be 100% against AI, but this is irresistable!

"Listen, Hotshot"..  Things aren't going to improve, are they? Ho hum.

As always, a believable story with great posing. Only comment I could come up with that is Charlotte wasn't bending much when 'Bending over the sink', but that's only an observation from the third reading, and I didn't notice when looking at the story rather than technique during the first two readings. Great.

    Regards

    Richard

Ketchup on fries or eggs sure,  but ketchup on a barbequed Steak. That's crossing the line!   We're done,  through,  over...

I'm saying that in jest... sort of.

Heh.  Someone in the comments section says that in Europe they put ketchup on pasta!  Don't know if it's true, but if so, it's appalling.

Surely 'everyone knows' ketchup is an ingredient in pizza, so why not on red sauce pasta to make it more intense?

Is there any wonder why typical UK cooking is not held up as a world renown beacon of quality?

    Regards,

    Richard

This is a definition of "intense" with which I am unacquainted. XD

I'm totally with you on your take of AI.  It's exactly the same for me.  I'll always be against those companies that steal data, but it seems we're getting a whole bunch of open source AI tools now that use data and training with permission.  And I agree, it's irresistible to want to see your creation come to life like that, and I really look forward to having a go when I get an Nvidia card.  I think as long as I can get it to look and behave as I wish, then I'll be all for incorporating AI tech.

If not then I'd get bored of it pretty quick!

It was definitely a highlight to see Charlotte come to life like that, so there's no denying it is there really.  There's real merit in the AI assisted aspect of it all.  My only hope is that AI takes us all down a good road and not a bad one, cause personally I can't see there ever being a middle ground.

I used Kling AI for this.  I've tried Grok and Runway but I think Kling is the best.  I just uploaded the image and prompted: The figure says, "I love you, Kurt.  You are so damned cute."  AI  not only created believable animation, but interpreted the context of what she was saying beautifully.

Ah right, I think Kling is closed source, though.

What I like are those Comfy UI ones where you can record yourself in front of a camera, and the AI will replace you with your Daz or any other character shown in an image.  Every movement and facial expression you make is captured and transferred into your character.  It's absolutely nuts.  Even the voice is done by taking whatever you say, and converting it into any voice you like, spoken in the exact way you speak it, or you can customise the variability.

In other words, you have an endless stream of customised actors all acted by yourself.  All done locally on your computer as well, cause it's Comfy UI.

BTW I love this clothing asset on Kurt.:

Not Dforce, but look at those folds and wrinkles.  Three outfits.  One downside-each is a complete asset.  No mixing and matching

How she decided to pro-create with this 'genius' in the first place, is a conundrum...

Charlotte is 32.  Her son is 15.  Her early life was fraught with bad choices and bad associations.  Brian being an example of both.

I was just sort of thinking aloud, cause I may have made a few bad decision between 11- 15 myself.  We all learn and grow from these.

Enjoying the storytelling and the revelations.
