Bighorn Patrol - Do the Doors and Tailgate Open?

I'm hoping to catch this while on sale, but there's no mention of whether the doors and tailgate open.
Since the vehicle is so very customisable, I'm guessing they do, but I just thought I'd better ask first since there's not a single image demonstrating the doors opened, and there's no mention of it in the description, either.
If anyone has this exact product, please let me know:

you need the Bighorn truck
its an addon
and that is shown with the tailgate open

This is an add-on for the Big Horn Truck,which has upening doors and tailgate;.
I have the Bighorn Truck and Bighorn Patrol and all doors open, tailgate lowers, wheels turn and the steering wheel does turn. The Bighorn Patrol has 8 presets that load as vehicles along with 62 accessories that add to the truck.
As others have said, The Patrol Addon product is just the paint jobs and additional military prop accessories for the Big Horn Truck, just to be clear.
Well duh, thanks all (and for the screenshot). I saw the white one and read the description, noted that it mentions the doors, but then saw the other and never bothered to read the Details section again thinking it would be the same other than the theming (I only read the "What's Included and Features" part for "Patrol").
It's desparately needed for transporting defeated superheroines back to basecamp, so I'll have to buy!
I really must remember that Daz are on a different time zone. I left it too long, but then saw the sale had been extended a final 24 hours, only to forget the time zone difference and sadly missed it, so I'll have to pick it up next time.
Best to strike while the iron is hot, but there's always another sale TM
I can't remember how many times I missed getting Bighorn Patrol on a sale. I believe I had seen it used by someone (@barbult?) in an UltraScenery render and realized I had the base truck, and then I wishlisted it. And kept missing a sale. @DzFire releases products often so his store goes on sale and this is an item that goes back to 2020 so won't be excluded from those sales.
@Torquinox
Indeed "There's Always Another Sale TM" but of course it could all depend on how "Daz Soon TM" it's gonna happen :-D
@memcneil70
Thanks for the heads up on that. I've decided to pick up both the truck and the add-on, but it will have to wait until the next sale now. It wasn't all bad, though, since I found another truck to play with in the mean time, and even paid less than a dollar for it due to being on Daz+ and it being part of the Outlet:

There's no mention of "Iray Shader" for that one, but it would be dead easy to adapt it to Iray I reckon. Haven't downloaded it yet, but it looks excellent quality and is fully rigged, even down to each individual suspension unit looking at some of those renders. Extra neat is that it allows you to remove the top, drop the sides and effectively have a huge open bed at the rear, so pretty cool. Plenty of space for transporting those lovely superheroines back to basecamp to have their superpowers removed. Only thing is I'll have to see how good it looks in matt black first, since the team that capture the superheroines will be dressed in black tactical gear, and I want it all to come across as a professional, well-funded superheroine capture team.
There's always a market for such teams in a world where corporate-funded superheroines, are spies. They sure look pretty, but they're also pretty damn dangerous to your business if one manages to seduce the boss of a large company (and they're damn good at that).
It's a tough job having to haul-in beautiful superheroines for removal of their superpowers, but someone has to do it, and we do have the specialist gear required!
By the way, that truck: "24 Pose Controls" !!!
I'm glad you found an alternate to play with. The Iray shaders that come with DS include some auto shaders. I'm not sure if there's a matte black.
And you should definitely pick up the other truck. It sounds like you're going to need a second. With a setup like that, surely there's some rescuers who need a ride - the Ladies' non-flying teammates, infuriated family members who happen to be SEALs or Delta Force, some Secret Agency that wants the superheroines for their own good or evil purposes...or maybe if the kidnappers are unlucky, they need a Plan B to escape.
@TykeyStudios
Sure, got my eyes on those PAs too and there's some amazing models on here, that's for sure. Lately I'm looking at stuff that I don't normally look at, and it's surprising how much slips past you when you're not specifically looking for it at the time that it does.
@miladyderyni_173d399f47
Sometimes it's surprisingly easy to convert to Iray, but it depends on how much is involved really. I'll definitely buy Bighorn (and the add-on) despite buying the other truck. Much better to have both since I already know of a way I could use the other truck in a similar scenario for a different story, although I could kick myself, cause another one I really wish I'd bought when they were going cheap, is Xivon's Barren Land and Barren Land Tow Truck. I must have been out of my mind to let those two slip when they were in the Outlet or whatever sale I saw them in. Didn't need them at the time though. and went for something else instead, so it's a bit like Torquinox said really, best to strike whlle the iron's hot!
Regards the superheroines, ah, well the superheroines they're bringing back to basecamp are basically corporate-funded spies with superpowers. They use their beauty and body to seduce men in positions of power. They're the superheroine equivalent of a 'Siren' with superpowers; basically a bunch of rogue, paid-off superheroines with a taste for espionage, so don't feel too bad for them, especially as the capture team are so very professional, and well trained.
I'm pleased to say that since making the post above, I managed to pick up Xivon's Barren Land and Barren Land Tow Truck due to the flash sale they had late last night, so quite happy again, at least for now until I need something else!
The reason I specifically wanted those two is because I have something planned with that desloate aesthetic to it, and I intend to customise both those products by hiding and re-purposing various elements of the scene and truck (using the Geometry Editor that's built-in to Daz Studio).
I think there's a lot of bits and bobs in those two products that make them really good for that, and a great resource for kitbashing!
@3DIO That sounds like a cool story. I do love superhero movies & role-playing games. Xivon does some good stuff.
It is easy to miss stuff. I try to skim all of Outlet once in a while (usually filtered for my fave genres) just to see if there's a gem. I should probably do the same with my product library again.
I wish there was a way to use the same filter navigation method throughout the store. For example, while browsing the Outlet (or any other given set of sale products Daz put out there), there's no way to filter only hair, only clothes, or only vehicles. The best you can do is filter down to stuff like Figure or Genre.
I reckon that's why I miss a heck of a lot of stuff.
@3DIO all of the Bighorn trucks we have been discussing are in the sale today. I have been trying to get Bighorn Safari and now I am getting it for $2.99 with new items in my cart that I want also.
@memcneil70
Thanks for that, I picked-up both of them (as in Bighorn and the Patrol add-on). Both worked out at $3.99 each for me, but that was probably because of the offer code I used. Gotta hand it to Daz, I only visited the store to pick-up the truck and add-on, and ended-up spending nearly fourty quid!
Not complaining, though. I managed to get some more nice sets into the bargain, sets with lots of utility in them for kitbashing. The wallet is going to have to stay in full-on constrictor mode for a while though, can't be affording this hobby very easy at all at the moment. Perhaps with a bit of luck the few characters I've wishlisted and the remaining sets will come on sale before my tokens expire. But other than that I'm all spent up for a while, at least until after I move home, which I'm hoping will be any week now with a bit of luck!
May I suggest you don't fall into the trap I did by buying everything you can? Look at how to 'use' the options Daz Studio offers and what forum members also pass on in hints, You Tube videos, and if you are a DAZ+ or Premier member the DAZ Studio Masterclass series of videos by Jay Versluis is very good even though they are older.
@memcneil70
I know who you mean and Jay does make some very useful videos so I'll take a look at what's new on his channel. I only have a set amount to spend so the next one will be the last one for a while no matter what I can and cannot kitbash really.
