Is there hair that's similar or maybe newer to this? https://www.daz3d.com/haven-hair-for-genesis-3-female-s ;
I like how I can pose it, similar dread style hair is really inflexible in my opinion. I primarily use G8F but it can be any G3 G8 or G9 is fine.

If there's a space after a link but no other text on the same line, the forum software interprets it as "the space is part of the link" and adds an encoded space at the end of the URL. Remove the space after the link in your post to fix it.
I don't know how you feel about shopping outside of Daz, but this site: https://www.sdebstore.com/collections/hair has a lot of high quality black hair styles. And most of the long ones can be draped with the dforce cloth system, and most support G8 and G9.

And yes I do shop from that store too. I like it, but I find those hairs harder to pose
