tell me how to fit clothing to V4 please

Using V4 I am trying to apply a pair of shoes to her but don't know how to actually fit them to her. I don't remember how but I know it was pretty easy when I used to use Daz3 some years ago but I cannot figure it out here. Anyone care to run me through a brief tutorial? ty. Image included.

    In the scene, right-click and "fit to" V4.

    or

    see if there's a pose fit that brings V4's feet into the shoes

    and/or position and parent to foot.

    Depends on the shoes and how they were made.

    Or go into the parameters tab under misc and fit to there, also.
