Yes, that's "normal." As: it shouldn't be, but it happens regularly, and often only populates at Daz time midday instead of midnight. Usually, if it doesn't sort itself out by their midday, a report is needed.

As a side note, it's an ultimate tease, isn't it? Since QG offers really good deals on good products, I'm sure many people are looking forward to the Monday changeover and it not happening when it's supposed to feels like a tease (or maybe an invitation to shop for something else first).

You're right, I agree, but perhaps one of the factors contributing to the problem is the fact that the midnight exchange procedure is probably not completely automatic and requires human supervision, because I've noticed it happens mostly during other large events like Christmas promotions or MMs, when operators are more busy with other activities. There probably aren't many employees. Let's wait until 12:00 DAZ time.

supposedly 131 employees, but that doesn't mean there are anywhere near that controlling the website.

Once  QG is working, this might be a good day to shop QG/OS, if you're not using a coupon, with the extra tokens.

New week, new QG glitch. Plus ca change, moins ca change.

I don't think QC is a glitch if it happens every Monday. QC ends Monday at midnight and reopens Monday at noon. (all times are Daz times)

So the times it doesn’t happen that way are the glitch?

One or other is a glitch. And as all other stuff changes over at DAZ midnight, it's the odd one out. And, seem y comment here at the beginning of March: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/9463871/#Comment_9463871

    QG is live now.

And I swear, that https://www.daz3d.com/lianna-9-darkholme-texture-add-on was in Outlet through yesterday & is now in QG.

And you are right. I remember seeing recently and also Price History shows that from at least April 3 until today it was half its current price.

I've seen the opposite several times as well. An item will leave QG, then a few weeks later shows up in OS.

I believe Daz is fiddling with the OS/QG formula. Sometimes such fiddling is good, other times... I wait for better times.

Lately the Outlet Store and Quick Grab feel like shopping in the $5 DVD bins at Wal Mart.

There's a whole lot of Nothing.

I disagree! I find plenty to like in the OS now. The thing is, the price scheme seems to be highly randomized. You can get https://www.daz3d.com/josie-9 base figure for $1.99* or you can get https://www.daz3d.com/stephanie-3-0-petite-ultra-catsuit for $6.99*. There's no discernible logic there, except maybe someone really wants you to buy Josie 9 and no one wants you to buy the catsuit. Well, I wouldn't download it for free, but YMMV. There are a surprising number of G3 & G8 base figures for $1.99 along with HD add-ons. There are some outfits I'd like. There are other items as well.

There are no bundles in OS because of the MM sale. I've got a cart set to go. This is not the time of month to buy a membership, though - Most unfavorable! Would I even get my coupons for April and be able to use them? I might have to chant the Daz mantra now and say, "There's always another sale!" Sad and true.

*Divide by 2 for member pricing. I don't have a membership at the moment.

I enjoyed shopping in the OS today. Added some clothing and some characters; both for G9 and G8. At .99 each, I'm happy.

The Outlet Store moreso than Quick Grab. The OS rotates assets very slowly compared to the QC. But the QC is a "check on Monday, ignore until next Monday" kind of thing.

I too am continuing to find a lot to love about OS and QG. And for the weeks/months that're slim, it's usually because I've already picked up all the stuff I'm interested in. That's okay! Someone else who missed them earlier can get a good deal on them this time around. (And goodness knows there's enough banal stuff in the real world that needs my money at the moment.)

Same here. I'm enjoying Quick Grab every morning for a quick rush of "Is there something I want at those awesome prices?" and when there isn't, it's usually because I already own items I would have otherwise bought.
And I appreciate Outlet Store that gives me a month do spread out my shopping and often items to add to the cart when I'm $1-2 away from the next token point.

Those two alone are the reason I did pay for yearly Daz+ membership back in October, because I knew that with the membership discount I'd get my membership's worth on QG/OS alone.

  • The OS has partly changed over, BTW

I am another who prefers OS over QG most of the time. I usually don't find as much interesting in QG, especially lately. Maybe it's the lack of bundles due to MM.

I very much enjoyed the free/extra-cheap OS offers. I was limiting myself to the single free item each day, so wasn't affected by some of the deal issues. I got https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-warrior-king-outfit-for-genesis-8-maleshttps://www.daz3d.com/dragonesque-hierarchical-poses-for-dragon-wings-and-tail-for-genesis-9, & https://www.daz3d.com/dragon-wings-and-tail-for-genesis-9. I'm quite happy with these, especially as 2 of them are in a wishlisted bundle which I can buy with a generous additional owned items discount next time it goes on sale.

    Already? :O

At first glance (wishlist), I don't see anything new, but I haven't checked the whole OS.

  • ElorElor Posts: 3,722

I don't think there was a change: the total number of items is the same, and the number of items I don't is also the same.

  • Maybe I missed some when I looked through it before?

  • TorquinoxTorquinox Posts: 4,580

    It should change tomorrow, anyway.

  • 3DSaga3DSaga Posts: 779

I think it has already changed; I see items that I know weren't there before. I definitely would've bought them already if they had been in OS during the month.

Item count is up to 2119 from ~1740. I still see quite a bit at OS prices from my WL, but they're not in the OS any more and the prices are wrong on a lot of the new OS items, too. Still no bundles. I doubt this is the final mix and it will take time to settle.

It looks like they changed-over early. We are trying to figure it out.

The prices on the Outlet list pages are all over the map, but in the cart, they seem to be "normal" Outlet prices ($0.99 or $1.99 for most, spot-checked)
