Fixed the problem with the missing 2 gb of ram but then the computer was not turning on as I thought.  Turns out that I accidentally unplugged the monitor connections to the computer and also the keyboard.  Computer working great now and not missing 2 gb of ram.

Morning. Ack the world seems to be a smaller place without Warren Mitchell.

I'm sorry to say I have never seen him in anything.  Looking at the listing of his work, I'll have to remedy that.

I may have seen a couple of those.  I know I saw Help! but I don't remember it that well, except that there were some strange people trying to steal Ringo's ring.  It's been many years.  I should try to find it and watch it again.  Their movies were fun!

was that the movie with Paul's Grandpa?

"what do you call your haircut"  "Fred"

That was "A Hard Day's Night".

    "He's very...clean."

Like I said, it's been many years since I saw it, so I don't really remember much about it.

This is what I recently found out... Coffee makers are for making coffee in, but if you are really lazy you can make Miso soup and watery goulash in it too...   Whatever the stated capacity, the reservoir never matches the coffee pot capacity... I think my coffee makers are stealing water... Early possibles include an alien plot to steal earth's water 1 cup at a time by incorporating matter transporters into the heating coils, or possibly coffee maker gnomes... But so far I haven't found any coffee maker gnome droppings, so I'm liking the alien theory more.

Crock pots are for cooking crocks in but I'm not sure which crocks... The large carnivorous reptiles or the rubbery shoes.... I tried the shoes, but they tasted rubbery and my wife got mad at me for cooking the kid's shoes in her crock pot... I promised to confine my experiments to the shop and use only my stuff from now on... But thats what I always say, so who is really to blame?.. Anyway, I will see if I can procure an appropriately sized crocodile or alligator and see how that turns out.

Could also be for cooking vintage motor cars, probably slightly easier to get hold of - though both have their enthusiastic champions who might object.

I need to do laundry but I am so sleepy I would go to bed without dinner.

  • McGyverMcGyver Posts: 7,096

That's weird... Usually,or I believe usually, this site auto saves drafts of whatever one writes...  But I just was about to make a post and despite seeming to have auto saved the draft, I had to turn my iPad off and on, and when returned the draft was gone... Megh... It was nothing important...

That vintage car reference has me baffled... I tried looking it up, but I got nothing except some crockpot for your car... There are a lot of things one should not do while driving, talking on the celly, texting, shaving, putting on makeup, training parrots to ride tiny bicycles... But now I guess I have to add "making pot roast"...

Frank... That root beer... It's awesome man... Was yours " Not Your Father's Root Beer"?... I bought a small case... It's awesome!  I had three bottles because it tastes so good, like a mix of cream soda and root beer...  It's awesome!  On my fourth one I noticed it's alcohol content is 5.6%... Not a lot but it tasted like 2.008978657667% ... I should have eaten before I had it... My toes feel nice and warm... Thanks Frank!  My toes feel nice. I should probably eat something dinner-like...
