Applying [anatomical elements] on G9

Hello everyone!

This might be a sensitive topic, but I really need some help with genitals for G9. I've added the genitals for both male and female characters, all good. However, when adjusting, shaping etc. them, I've realized that there's no anus included in these elements and that sucks to be honest. It's not realistic. I've tried several options like Golden Palace, NGG to add the anus, and in case of Golden Palace it worked, but for me, it is returning errors when trying to apply the material. It seems to be a script issue. So, at this moment I'm lost between how to apply the anus itself and how to apply the skin material afterwards.

Can someone walk me through a complete, detailed instruction on how to apply the anus to a character or suggest a 3rd party app? I've been searching through the entire internet for solutions but nothing worked so far and my brain can no longer cope with failures.

Many thanks in advance!

I am baffled about that too!

It seems the Daz team of designers have omitted that into the Genesis figures.

It's up to Daz to include it into the Genesis X figures (Where the X represent each generation from 1 to 9)

I don't want to go elsewhere to buy something that will not work.

Let's hope something good may happen later.

Edit: it's really frustrating when something like this kind of feature is missing.

The worst part is when getting some of this kind of stuff from somewhere else, it will not work properly with the Daz Female/Male figure.

Is time that Daz designers come up with something to fill the void as soon as possible, otherwise it will create some disatisfaction and that means is time to vent the spleen, which unfortunalety causes more concern.

There is geometry for the anus.

    But there is no morphs.

There are some products morphs in the store, but those I looked through didn't include the anus.

There might be some 3rd party.

What kind of morphs are you after?

I honestly don't understand the mentality and approach of the team. I mean, if you create a genital element, make sure to include all parts accordingly. This is like making the hand but not adding the nails. I'm now forced to either sculpt the part in Zbrush or other tools I'm not good at (at the moment, and learning will take some precious time), or rely on 3rd party tools, wich for me turned out to not work properly at all.
Leaving the anus as it is, is just disturbing and really feels unnatural. The problem with waiting for them to include that in later generations (or all of them) is that you don't know when will that happen and until then, people need to come up with something. Frustrating...

Indeed, the geometry is there, but adjusting it with morphs creates only hole in best case or shapes the surroundings and that's it. I have plenty of morph dials for the anus, but since the actual part is missing, those morphs do nothing. I'll attach a picture the soonest I'm on my PC.

I beleive the script for the Golden palace has an update for DS 2026, if that is what you are using, that has been posted to the Renderotica forum (so no links may be posted here, but I assume you can check the artist's profile for a link to their posts/threads).

Hi Rich, thanks for the input. I actually removed the old Golden Palace pack and downloaded the new one as advised. It seems to be working so far, I've got myself the characters with all anatomical elements (finally :D). The only thing that remains unsolved is applying the skin material since the gens are grey. (Golden Palace's "copy material" script is still giving me errors).

@felis - I know you've had some instructions on how to correctly apply skin texture on anatomical elements. I did follow those instructions, but somehow that workaround did not work for me as expected. May I ask for your kind assistance on this matter?

And thank you all for your assistance.

Are you talking about applying Body material on the anatomical elememts?

Yes, that exactly what I'd like to do. The copy G9, or body surface option doesn't do anything and applyibg the material by using the mapping option is giving me very weird results. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, I just can't figure it out on my own.

Check the shader of the anatomical element and compare it to the shader of the Body surface.

Likely the Body is PBRSkin and the anatomical elements is Iray Uber.

If so first apply the correct shader to the anatomical elements.

Much appreciated Felis. That was really helpful and it worked perfectly. What a nice feeling :)

You may also run into the white anatomy issue if you have other geografts on the figure, as the have to be set up in exactly the right way o r one may occlude the other.  Fortunately, there's an easy solution in the Universal SHell Fix utility by LightBlue at Renderotica.  More on that in this thread https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/756956/white-anatomical-parts#latest
