Everett 9 HD brings a distinguished, mature character design

    So he's what, 35?

Old men and young women. Sign of the times. Glad to see Mada and rigid mode buttons back. ('s a pity about the Gamesman Outfit). I do like him better than the other geezers though.

Funny I was mainly getting a Sean Connery vibe (especially the gamesman outfit and hair used), though there was picture that screamed Pierce Brosnan

    Well both played 007.

Yeah I know, and it has an Editorial license. Doesn't change the fact Everett gives my Connery vibes.

The League of Aging Gentlement is officialy taking over this thread.

  • When I saw the armor & hair I thought, "This is Edward 8's successor." But everything else is Very Non-medieval Upper Class Accessories. Those, and the Brosnan/Connery looks, suggest either 007-esque spy or Super-rich Drama themes to me, and I'm not likely to use most of the content, even though I've enjoyed a few Bond flicks in my time.

Dunno, but to me, his skin looks seventy-ish.

He's not bad and the add-on bundle actually has a few great item, especially the Tux, though did ANYONE actually need yet another new set of armor?  And of course, being English challenged as DAZ is, nobody seems to have been bothered by the fact that a tourer is normally a car that comforably seats four and is available with an open or convertable top, and what we get is a hardtop hybrid of an Aston Martin with the tiny back seat of a sportscar...

I'm 76 years old. I think I've been lucky because maybe I've looked young for my age.

But then I seem to be changing recently. I'm showing more of those classic signs such as deep wrinkles on my arms, especially.

I've lost some weight, and now I see bags of skin where I once had muscles.

So what I'm saying is that there's a wide range of appearance for different people even in the same age range.

Everett looks nice. I'm leaning more to "senior" characters since my "live audience" of friends in my community are all seniors.

Fit Control was made for you and me:

I wish Daz had commissioned Luthbel to do a line of male contemporary clothes for G9 with extra textures by Luthbellina.

At this point I'm just grateful that at least there are some decent male clothes being made, even though a lot of what does come out is rather mediocre or excessively redundant.  Remember all the folks who kept saying that if DAZ went back to a unisex base there would be a huge increase in products for male characters?  I guess that turned out to be true if what you want is men in well-fitted women's swimsuits and lingerie, but beyond that, this generation has the worst output ratio of male to female characters since Genesis was introduced while the clothing ratio seems even more skewed.

some of us would dress the female characters in male clothing too so there's more going on here

in real life I know many women including myself who wear clothing traditionally for both genders

Or maybe the DB5, which was famously featured in a movie about a certain spy guy wink

Today's tuxedo is great. That gameskeeper outfit, though, oof.

I don't mind the content of the bundle too much. There aren't bras, panties, and bondage gear in it. So that makes me happy.

A few months ago Pierce Brosnan was interviewed about his series on Morning Joe and he still has it. Charm, good looks, decency and smarts. All very attractive in my book. I understand the clothing choices considering his current series, not that I have seen it. Just the clips and that was enough to make my hair curl. He was so vicious in that role in Mobland.

The boot/trunk is the area most different between two very similar versions... And, blurred as the promo image is, in that regard, you might just be right! It's a pretty good representation, whichever it is. Both are also considered 2+2 grand tourers. Having been driven around in a 5, I can confirm they have to be a very small +2! blush

Does someone have an opinion on the hair? It looks nice on the various promo render.

My dad had a Kharmann Ghia when I was a kid, and even at age seven it was uncomfortable in the back.   I think Aston Martin's use of the word tourer in their products is a bit of a stretch, as a Tourer is supposed to be something that's comfortable for long drives which an Aston Martin most definitely is not, though they do at least make convertible versions.  One of the major reasons Jeremy Clarkson of  Top Gear and Grand Tour fame gave for retiring from the driving shows was that, at 65, he could no longer get into or drive modern sportscars comfortably, and, being of the same age myself, I can definitely empathize.  With that in mind, it's really weird how few "normal" sedans are made for the DAZ/Poser market, especially here at DAZ.

I also got some Tommy Lee Jones vibes from some of the promos.

Some play renders, with the big versions attached.

    His HD:

Eric for Everett next to Walter 9 HD. I've applied Walter's age spots to both. Walter here is wearing the hair that came with the bundle but I think that was a 3rd party omni shader I rendered it with. I doesn't appear to have any movement morphs, but the groom is nice enough.

Everett in the the suit! The few simple poses I tried it in simulated well with no dforce explosions. I haven't tried it with a character sitting down yet.

Walter 9 HD in background withs his own materials and a 3rd party tattoo layer applied. (Eyebrows swapped out). In the foreground is a 50% mix of John 9 and Walter 9 with John's base material. Hey presto, an almost Javier Bardem inspired charactere. Walter seems to work ok as an age morph.

Compliments to the people that worked on him. It's rare to get wrinkles that render without immediately looking uncanny.
