Can't get arms together pose right

Recently I've had some trouble finding how to make this pose in Daz

https://www.daz3d.com/lala-brocade-guard-hd-for-genesis-9-masculine

(Pic 3 from the left)

For some reason I can't seem to shift the arms to exactly this pose... or maybe this requires turning off limits? Or does this character have some additional dials that you can use?

Help is earnestly wanted. Thank you

A quick version. No breaking limits, just play with upper arm together with the shoulder.

Thank you! Could you give me the basic parameters that you used for the shoulder, upper arm, and forearm joints? I have a lot of trouble folding the arms to look like that pose without causing arm clipping with the torso.

You need to get the arms a little forward, to get them free of the torso.

Here is my settings for left arm. Right arm is almost ther same, I mirrored, and then adjusted one of the arm so they didn't clip.

I always start with the upper arm, and if that reached its limits, I start using the shoulder. I generally try to avoid being fully at the limits inless I can't avoid it.

I can also suggest this https://www.daz3d.com/ultimate-pose-master-for-genesis-9

I have the version for G8, and it can be good to help posing especially the hands. But after some practice, I will only use it in difficult cases.

felis What model is that you used as an example?

Also the utility you have mentioned in the link is just for the ams?

What I posed was for G9.

The utility I linked has a targets (helpers) for hands and feet, and will calculate the rotations of the adjecent parts, i.e. for hands, shoulder, upper arm and lower arm, to get the hand/foot in the wanted position. But you can also adjust those using sliders.

Finding the right values to get the hand to a certain pose can be a challenge, which I find this usefull for, though I only have the G8 version of it.

felis My question is about the girl name posing with the arms down, so I can find her in the store.

The girl I posed is Moussos Fate, https://www.daz3d.com/mso-fate-hd-for-genesis-9

Thanks felis I could not identify her at first sight, as she is bald in the picture.

Already I have her in Daz 4.24 library smiley
