dForce Neat Short Hair for Genesis 9 - hair transparency

Hey guys and gals,

I purchased dForce Neat Short Hair for Genesis 9, and I'm experiencing issues with the hair. It appears incomplete, as the model's scalp is visible underneath both in the preview render and the actual render.
I tried other shaders on the hair, but the issue remains.
Can you give me any hints?
I'm using DAZ 4.24.0.3, NVIDIA RTX1070ti

How did you load the hair? I selected a Genesis 9 figure then double clicked the hair in Smart Content.
On the left is how it looks. On the right I copied the figure with the hair, but after that unparented the hair. Maybe the hair in your case is not parented to the figure?

That screenshot is not a render but an iray preview - the navigation widget can be seen in the top-right. Most hairs do not display fully in iray preview for performance reasons but there should be a setting in parameters to override this if you need it.

Parenting it to the figure did seem to be the issue.
I'm using it on a Genesis 3 figure, and I usually parent G9 hair to G3's head instead of the figure.
    Thanks for the answers.
