Morning. Sun rose and straightaway fell into a mess of purple edged stormclouds leaving not much difference between dark and daylight so far this dismal Friday morming. TGIF at least :)

I got Cars on bluray for my nephew.  Actually it is the cars collector's edition set.  He is around four and a half.

Did Google just change its look again? I was just searching for something and the results page is stupid looking... A huge waste of space... Who makes these decisions? Are they testing laboratory animals to see what they look at the most and base their designs on that... ?

Nothing else to do but sit back and eat this morning, and enjoy a whole year's rain at once I guess, so much rain all at once is a wonder, can see puddles to splash around in. But it might just keep raining hard, dunno :)

I had several responses from google lately that were empty pages. surprise Things that should have resulted in hundreds of replies.  It just sits there with a blank page and indicatiing that it's "done". frown  What's the world coming to when you can't rely on google to provide links even to things you never wanted to know?

I tried googling for "gerbil overlords", and got 131 results, so I think Google still works.

But... do you have any ad blockers, or use NoScript?  While I've not seen Google results do this, I have seen a number of pages that will load completely blank, and images that only load a little bit at the top with the rest blank, presumably because either everything has been blocked, or something has been blocked.

Remember making stone tools? I still do... A couple of days ago I was setting up a temporary tennis net for my daughters in the yard and had to put in the side stakes... The ground where I was putting in the stake was harder than I thought, so the smaller hammer I was using was not doing it... the stake was too flimsy for Mjölnir my usual pounding stuff, mini sledge hammer... So I picked up a nice size rock and used that... Of course one of my daughters comments... "Who need hammer... Hammer weak... Rock strong... Rock good"... Nice to know she is following my ways.

End of the first day of work - left at 5:30M, HOME t 8:15pm. indecision The commute is easy and pleasant, just... long.  Oh well, it's worth the money!  I'll just be reating art an music weekends only now.

Great company, great people, lots of dfferent things to do, I get along with everyone.  And FOOD!  Popeyes 1/2 a block away, next to a Starbucks, Taco Bell a block away, a block and a half to Italian, BBQ, and Chinese! laughGood thing I get to walk 3/4 of a mile to/from the bus sto or I'd get fatter.. lol.. cheeky

Legs hurt from yeterdays 4.5 miles total walking.  2 years ago I'd have hardly felt it, spending 14 months in a walker-hostie town has taken its toll. sadWill likey be 2 weeks before my legs and feet get used to it again, but then I should start losing weight!!!

Anyway, off to Facebook and then chat whilst I sip a good, Texas beer! Goodn9ght all!!

Watch out, you're going to have everyone thinking that all we do in Texas is eat.  Glad you made it through the first day.  I can't believe it took that long to get home.

Well, it's a cab ride, 2 buses, and a walk (shorter if I don't hit HEB). surprise No real way around it - Round Rock has no public transit, so it's Austin or nowhere, which means a long commute. indecision Oh well,  it's worth it!

Ihave my umbrella with me, whew!  Fortunately I didn't get rained on, nothing fell at either bus stop or the rail station. smiley Not sure how bad it will be tomorrow, tomorrow or Sunday I need to hit Walmart or Target for a new shoulder pack.

I got paid wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, enough cash for another week!! laugh

Oh, if it were only that simple...

For migraines, doctors can (and do) snip a nerve in the patient's head.  Still technically have a migraine, but no pain.  At least that's what my hospital roommate told me they did to her.

There is no justice in this world... Well, besides poetic justice, and that girls apparel by that name... But other than that there is none... Probably.
